Vung Bau Resort

Das Resort befindet sich sehr abseits, so dass man für Besuche der nächsten Ortschaften (z. B., wenn man eine adäquate Apotheke benötigt oder mal zum Essen gehen will) ein Taxi benötigt. Allerdings ist der Weg zum Resort so schlecht und von riesigen Schlaglöchern geprägt, dass Moped-Taxis über die genialen Apps grundsätzlich ablehnen und Taxi-Fahrer gelegentlich den Weg nicht finden oder den Auftrag gleich canceln. Aber das lässt sich relativ gut regeln. Notfalls besorgt der Chef ein Taxi.
Die Speisekarte ist sehr übersichtlich und bei der Bestellung sollte man sich nicht unbedingt an den abgebildeten Fotos der Speisen orientieren.
Dafür sind die Wartezeiten bzgl. des Essens ungewöhnlich kurz.

Everything is run down and rubbish everywhere. The service is not good apart from the room cleaning ladies. Not enough staff. The mattress was the hardest I have ever slept on, like sleeping in the floor.

Le jus d orange n etait pas du fruit frais mais de la bouteille industrielle imbuvable
Le chemein d acces est long 1.5kms et difficillement praticable (sable, pierres, trous et meme un serpent)
La cuisine est moyenne pas au niveau local aucun vietnamien ne mange ici et le service pas super pro et agreable (le sourire est rare)

Не было чайника , хотя он был заявлен. В номере не работал умывальник , вода текла тонкой струйкой и прямо на пол . Неудобный матрас и подушки. Покушать там кроме как в отеле рядом негде , ехать до отеля по грунтовой дороге минут 5 . Глушь . Ночью орет петух и громко лают собаки , за свою цену считаю , что сервиса нет .

Room facilities had a lot of room for improvement. Too many insects in the room, the bathroom was not doing justice to the location of the resort.

Accommodation was very basic, very tired. Bed was super uncomfortable, very hard bed, (bruised hips after 5 night stay), bathroom was not clean, shower leaked everywhere and only like warm, kettle provided but no cups, or spoons, or tea/coffee. Fridge supplied. Food was awful. Breakfast eggs/omelette was pre cooked and delivered cold every day. When fried eggs were sent back, was heated in microwave - unbelievable.

We ordered two rooms: one for me and my wife, and one for children. 1. Hotel pictures on booking.com look very different than in reality. 2. When they brought us to our sea-view room, the room walls vibrated from old AC. Then they showed us another option with sea view, which looked like a prison cell. 3. Another apartment (garden view) was full of mosquitos. In the bathroom we saw more than 50 of them.
Manager tried to help us by offering other options (as it was in the eveneing already). We got a room (no sea view), which was quite ok (except no place to put your clouthes, WC room was not clean and if you turn on ventillation in bathroom, you get bad smell). First night we spent all together with our children in this room (no compensation for getting just one room instead of two). From second night children got another room wich was also quite good (except a lake on the floor from the leaking AC - it was fixed in few hours, so no complaints regarding that). BREAKFAST: you can choose one option from 5-6 available breakfast options and one out of few drinks. Oh, and you get few slices of watermelon for free. Everything else - you need to pay extra.
And the rooster: it "helps" you to wake up from 4:30 in the morning...
Staff was quite ok, only a manager was able to speak english.
