Nice for a short stay
Pros:

Nice hotel in the centre of the town. Bar and food were great. The courtyard was a lovely bonus, as was the pool.

Cons:

Not air-conditioned and therefore was very warm

Lovely clean hotel in central location but next time would go room only.

Lovely clean room in a great location

Cons:

Breakfast was a let down. Good choice of cereal,jam toast etc but the hot buffet items were disappointing. The bacon was hard and rubbery,eggs hard and baked beans unappealing and stodgy.

Beautiful, large room. Very enjoyable stay.

Cons:

The breakfast could be fresher, the hot food was quite dry, the potatoes were undercooked, the milk and butter was warm and the pastries were soggy. The breakfast was ok but not great.

Great location for shops and very good local italian restuarant
Pros:

Hotel was just right for our requirements, good value and in the centre of Chippenham so good for italian restuarant opposite and shops--we stayed for two nights whilst attending wedding nearby

Cons:

The property,main building ,is very old,so decor not great and room lacked air con so quite warm at night

The hotel is a pleasant old coaching house. Rooms are large and comfortable, however, with no Aircon a little warm in the hot weather
