A welcome relaxing break.
Pros:

The character, the food and the quiet rear beer garden.

Cons:

Creaky floorboards are part of the character of these older buildings, but in my room every board creaked. I hope it didn’t disturb other guests. Also, I found the guest Wi-Fi was very temperamental and weak at times.

It was a pitstop stay enroute to a car show, and we enjoyed our stay
Pros:

Spot on from start to finish, very pet friendly and we were catered to brilliantly. The evening meal was outstanding and the room itself was charming and clean. Dog bed and bowl were supplied for our furry companion and treats too !

Pros:

Friendly staff, comfy furniture, good location

Cons:

There were not enough staff in the restaurant as they were trying to look after the bar and the restaurant. The bar was very busy as a wedding was also taking place.. we waited over 2 hours for our meal, which is not acceptable.
Management should have provided more cover, as they would have known in advance that it would be busy
