Please note that a pre-authorization of a credit or debit card will be required on arrival for all bookings, including pre-payment bookings. This is in order to open credit facilities with the hotel.
Dogs are welcome in Standard Rooms only (not permitted in Executive Rooms, Bridal Suites, or other suites). A £10.00 per dog, per night fee applies, and a £50.00 pre-authorization will be taken on arrival to cover potential damage. A maximum of 2 dogs per room is allowed.
Please note that the hotel is nonsmoking throughout.
Check in from 3pm onwards. Check out is 11.00am.
Breakfast is served 6.30am-9.30am Weekdays and 7am-10am Weekends & Bank Holidays. Hot food is served 12pm-2pm/6pm-9.30pm. Afternoon Tea is available every day 2pm-5pm. All tables for Meals must be pre-booked. This can be done by either calling us on 01522 878000 or via email [email protected]
We are operating a cashless system, Full VAT receipts can be emailed to you, if required.

Good location
Bar area is inside with no windows.
Old air conditioning unit that was rather loud to run.
Staff were very professional and accommodating, the bed was comfortable and clean
My room was large and clean but close to a very busy road which was quite noisy and meant I didn't sleep too well

Our room was without water for our stay. We were informed that as our booking was made through yourselves that any recompense had to made directly to you. We await your response.

When we had water the shower was rubbish
My room was on the side of the by pass so didn’t sleep for 4 days
The lifts were out of order also apart from the great

We had stayed there September last year and were very satisfied
After our previous stay which we were very satisfied with this time we were very disappointed.
Firstly the dressing table on the bedroom was very sticky hadn't been polished or even been dusted. Everything you put on there just stuck.
Secondly the bathroom along the back of the bath had all pink stains on. It looked like s toothbrush stain or the top of the toothpaste .
There was only 2 tissues left in the box on the cabinet by the bed.
On visiting the restaurant in the evening we were given table 6. my husband kept moving his feet about under the table as all the floor was really sticky and it all stuck to the bottom of his shoes.
Can't fault the meal it was lovely .
When we went back to our room upstairs his shoes kept sticking to the carpet. Once in the room he took off his shoes and tried to remove it but not very successfully.

It's location very much suited our need for a central base for sightseeing. It also had a Hickory Smoker Restaurant next door.
The shower was fixed and hard to operate.
Rooms tired need a major overhaul. Staff lovely though. Great location
