Kensington Hotel

Staff hardly spoke English ans they had to use the Google translator to speak which was hard and confusing.
Tolet very dirty and shower didn't work. I asked the staff there but I don't think they understood me. So I asked them to come and see the shower and as they drainage didn't work so water allover.
Room very cold to the extend now I have a bad cold and off feom work.

hotel door was locked at entry no staff at front desk to let me in, had to wait for them to show up as door buzzer was not working

Booking time was as 3pm i arrived 4pm a d i couldn’t get in because no one was at the front desk only one person working the desk they needed at least one extra staff member in my opinion.

Owner of hotel doesn’t know how to use booking app - i booked hotel so i can pay on the day she wanted me to share my card details with her over speaker phone i didnt like that i suggested using booking app and we used that at the end there was no issue with payment from the beginning just simply needed to pay on day.

Over all poor management in my opinion first impression was not good at all. No soap provided in shower.

Need staff at front desk at all time during the day at least.

Bathroom was a bit dirty mould around the bath

The bed was rock hard, quilt wafer thin and bathroom grim. No shampoo, shower gel etc and one hand towel to share between two. Tv had sound with no picture. Walls and radiator filthy. On booking.com states parking, but on arrival charge £10 per car. Room stank of stale smoke. While building smells. Wouldn’t recommend

I ask for no stairs got put on second floor did not get told nothing before arriving .when there was room on ground floor when arrived got told must pay the £10 extras for parking when no mention on booking they did say on confirmation but they could not find on my booking either .long hairs on hand towel ,punch hole in door ,sliding door between bed room and bathroom did not not slide ,when complain got told do not speck English could not get shower work only bath

Unfortunately there was a lot wrong with the property. Bed was broken, shower head was broken, tv was broken and did not work. Carpets were extremely dirty, we had to wear socks at all times due to getting black feet! Stains on walls and wardrobe. The small fridge leaked water every time you opened it. We found pills (either medication or something else) near one of the beds. We had 3 children with us so we were very concerned for their health and Saftey in the room. It’s so so unfortunate as the staff were very friendly. The room was just not up to standard and really not worth the money we paid.

Rooms, Toilets, Beds, Mattress, Duvet was dirty uncleaned no AC no cleaning, all rooms were stinked over all nothing was good. Toilets have no shampoo and no shower gel. There were no spoons, no cutlery and no glass in the rooms and no locks in the toilets and bathroom. Overall it was a bad experience and recommended to no one ever. I wish I could have taken proof. -They didn't clean the rooms properly where we stayed very well, because there were dead bugs and flies by the windows.
-I tried to take the shower but the water was leaking out the corners, so I couldn't take a shower
-The WiFi was on and off and the normal channels did not work
-When we arrived no one was at the reception to open the door
-One member of staff was rude to my mother even do we tried to explain why the other person could not come

Unfortunately, we stayed during the middle of a heatwave and there was no air conditioning and very little air circulation in the room. It was incredibly hot, to the point that it was really uncomfortable.
Obviously, the weather was unusually hot and that's not something the hotel can control, but without air conditioning or much ventilation, I personally wouldn't stay here again during very warm summer weather.

The key card for the room did not work, and there was no one available to respond.
There was no staff available at the hotel at any time during the night, and no one at reception to deal with any problems.
The hotel was extremely dirty, and I will never stay at this hotel again.

The tv in the room was broken, the bathroom was dirty
