Pros:

The bed was truly atrocious. Felt like sleeping on cardboard and as a result i had to layer duvet’s on top of it to provide more comfort. I slept terribly.

Smashed windows .drug users antisocial behaviour from hosgel tenants very loud noise in ajnoining room from before 8 am had to climb over dust sheets outsid3 my room doot every day u till late in the evening , reported no hot water and gt told to go back in afternoon when maintenace is available necer materailised cold water in shower obly and sink , i checked out one day early after travelling from glasgow for a funeral woulda left on arrival if i didnt need to be ata funeral om friday .would advise u to r3move a hostel full of smackheads of a hoyel site

Budget friendly, but not for five star guests
Pros:

Great location, just over an hour away from many attractions such as: Lake district, Southport, The Pennines, Chester and MU stadium.
Very budget friendly price - worth overlooking most of the downsides.
Room was clean.

Cons:

The bunk bed was wobbly, the bottom bed had a broken slatted base, the furniture was worn out, the curtain rod was broken. A better janitor could have fixed a lot of things.

Staff are really kind and welcoming. Clean rooms with power showers. Great location, couldn’t ask for anything more.

Cons:

One of the glass doors were smashed when we got there. Someone else trying to find the entrance like us. Room 104, Double bed was shockingly uncomfortable (like sleeping on the floor) we had the worst nights sleep ever, bunk bed squeaked every time the kids rolled over like it was going to collapse at any moment, absolutly stunk of mould as soon as we entered, spiders everywhere, couldn't use the wardrobe as the TV was that close on opposite wall but also the wardrobe looked like it was going to fall apart as it was leaning off the wall towards the telly, curtain rail was hanging off the wall too.
