we will not choose this hotel again despite it's terrific location in bloomsbury

room location at the bottom of the staircase was difficult to navigate with heavy bags, noisy throughout with staff cleaning rooms. all in all not pleasant to stay or sleep at night

A great choice for visitors to the Bloomsbury area. Quiet yet convenient.
Pros:

A very quiet location across from a peaceful and lovely park. Easy walk to several tube stations and many restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Great hotel, friends staff, good location reasonable price.
Pros:

Great location, lovely room. Staff friendly. Nice to have water in the room on arrival. As the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning, which we were aware of, there was a very powerful tower fan in the room. Great touch.

Cons:

The room was quite dusty. The lamps by the side of the bed were dusty as well as the shelf behind the bed.

Pros:

The room was nice, good size, and great shower. No AC, just a fan that didn't help too much. The location is central, the tube is 10min walking. No lift to the rooms. The breakfast was good, served in the Goodenough College Hall. Overall, a pleasant stay, but too expensive for they offer.

Short stay in central London
Pros:

It's under 10 minutes from Kings Cross, but in a peaceful square with access to the private park in the centre of the square. There are many cafes and restaurants and shops close by, and the rooms are quiet.

A very disappointing and misleading stay overall.
Pros:

The location was the only real positive aspect of this stay. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area of London and the exterior of the building is attractive.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The building was covered with scaffolding due to renovation work that was never disclosed before arrival, which completely changed the atmosphere of the hotel. The room we received also did not match the photos and description we booked — instead of a bright room with natural light, we were placed in a dark lower-ground room facing internal areas.
Communication with the staff was also frustrating, and they were not very helpful in resolving the situation despite long discussions. Overall, the stay felt misleading and stressful, especially considering the price paid.

Beautiful bedroom and decors- unfortunate about the outside street privacy
Cons:

Ground floor bedroom- workers and builders stood right outside my bedroom window very early and looking through the window so zero privacy, not feasible for a woman
