Pros:

Location great , great food , lovely staff . Really comfortable beds can't wait to return .

Cons:

One criticism with parking we felt like we couldn't move the car in fear of someone else getting there. . Didn't feel that you should have to go pay for parking if you're staying in the hotel .

Pros:

Stayed there a few times. It's a perfect location for setting off on trips or staying local. Hotel is very near Ullswater so not too far to walk. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, breakfast was lovely and so was evening meal.

Very clean well situated hotel with a great breakfast
Pros:

Location location location

Cons:

We had a room on the second floor and the windows hardly opened so it was too hot and there was no fresh air

Pros:

It was in a good location and the room was nice and big. One staff member in the restaurant was really helpful and another one changed our room to one without step access which was very appreciated.

Cons:

The room was over 30 degrees for the duration of our stay which made it really uncomfortable especially with having a small baby.
Really difficult to navigate through the pub with a pram and intoxicated patrons. Not able to park anywhere near the hotel. The car park across the road is quite far away. Apart from one member of staff who was really helpful and kind the ones in the restaurant were unhelpful and inconsiderate and made things harder for us than they needed to be.

Not worth £200 a night
Pros:

Location was stunning, staff we interacted with were friendly.

Cons:

The room I stayed in ( 17) was stifling, no fan or air con, extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work, the shower put half the water down the wall, TV had no reception so was unwatchable. The serve yourself breakfast was a bit of a farce, I went in at 0900hrs, there was no check by the staff to see if I was a resident, there seemed far more people sat having breakfast than there are beds in the hotel! No seats left, looked at the hotplate, no eggs, no bacon, no beans, one anemic looking sausage and loads of people asking where all the milk was. It might of all got replenished but I didnt hang around to find out, now you might think well why not flag any of this up to the staff, butt £200 a night you shouldn't have to. Beautiful location but I won't be returning.
