Pros:

Friendly helpful receptionist. Sorted out secure storage foe our two bikes.
Big twin room, good shower. A little noisy being in the front of the hotel.
Good breakfast.

Good location, very friendly staff, however in need of refurbishment

Extremely helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help me with certain requests.
Generally welcoming
Good spacious car park

Cons:

Old fashioned and tired decor in need of refurbishment.
Heavy old-fashioned bedroom doors, no Modern USB sockets in bedrooms for charging phones or tablets.
Shower over bath which was very difficult to control the temperature of using the taps- fluctuated from too hot to too cold.
Mould in certain areas of the bathroom, and also around window frames.

Very good location for us. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were very hard so didn't sleep much.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Good for a short stay and reasonable value for money. Needs some love and a refurb.
Pros:

Good location, friendly staff and comfy beds.

Cons:

Hotel feels really outdated. Rooms need to be refurbished, particularly bathrooms which just had a musty smell to it. Modern touches to room would be beneficial e.g, plugs by bedside or fridges in rooms.

Pros:

The breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

The bells of church every hour all night.The room with a view was of traffic lights and busy road.The bath taps were really noisy loud when turned on !!! Not sure why.
There was
nowhere to put tooth brush really need a shelf or something,no toilet brush either. Tiles in bathroom need attention.

Very hot room fan was provided though,windows opened but had secondary units but couldn't open them because of net curtains.

The bar closed at ten, which was really early for guests,not anywhere for hotel guests to sit comfortably.

There was a leak from the ceiling in breakfast lounge.

Would not choose to stay here again.

Perfect location but tired hotel in need of an update
Pros:

The location was perfect for our needs as we attended a party in the hotels function room.
Staff were great.

Cons:

Everything needed an update & an massive injection of money.
The carpets, the uncomfortable beds and mattresses. The shower dripped out so couldn’t use the shower. Generally unclean room.
