An ideally located hotel when visiting York.
Pros:

Location was excellent, in the shadow of the Minster. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, particularly the specialty egg dishes.

Cons:

We were very disappointed that the price at which we booked the hotel was subsequently reduced, leaving us at a disadvantage for booking early. Booking.com failed to live up to its promise to price match.

Excellent location, really clean and value for money
Pros:

Location right next to York Minster, room extremely clean with air conditioning unit and fan. Full English Breakfast was really nice. Sandwiches for lunch were gorgeous. Staff really friendly and hrlpful. Perfect stay will definitely go again! Well Done 👌

Superb location, friendly helpful staff and comfortable room.
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location for the theatre, shops and the cathedral. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. We arrived well before the appointed check in time and they gladly let us leave our luggage and even placed it in our room. We had a snack mid afternoon which was tasty and fresh. The full English breakfast is ideal to start your day. Beautifully cooked and served with a smile. Thank you.

Staff were lovely and super kind. The hotel needs a re-do and a good clean.

Cons:

Wasn’t as expected. Very poor room. Not clean and with mold in the shower. It was listed as a high rank property but it wasn’t at all. It was a waste of money.

Had a wonderful time right in the centre of everything definitely go back again
