Please note that the hotel is a very popular wedding venue, therefore some bedrooms may experience noise at the weekend. Pets Policy: Maximum 2 small dogs per room is allowed and dogs are only permitted in our standard rooms. £10 per dog, per night payable on arrival to the hotel. Close to where I needed to be for my work. Location easy to get to. Staff friendly and competent. Comfortable bed and good temperature throughout. Fan available in the room for hot nights. Bathroom clean and plenty of hot water.
I noticed the view from my room not great but that didn’t really matter. Floorboards creaked a little.

Room was large and bed comfortable. Great shower, fan provided because of the warm temperature. Breakfast selection was impressive and all good quality. Service and attention to detail was great.

3 stars really doesn’t do this place justice – it deserves more. The reception and lounge area are lovely, and all the staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Had a great stay and would definitely come back!
A lot of choice at breakfast, especially on the cooked side. And it was nice that the cooked option was served to your table instead of being a self-service buffet, which is what I was expecting. The 'tower fan' provided in the room was also a nice touch. Hotel is a bit outside of the city centre, so for a non-driver like myself the nearby (10 minute walk) Stepps station was very handy.
I found that the window in my room wouldn't close completely, and there was quite a lot of traffic noise from the nearby dual carriageway. I'm glad I packed earplugs!
I could not fault anything it was really excellent will go for the upgrade of rooms next time to see what that is like breakfast excellent the place should have more than the 3 star rating in my opinion

Would NEVER recommend. Room was 86 degrees with no air conditioning. Front desk staff claimed that all rooms were the same so nothing could be done, not even a room change. However when I asked another lodger about their room, they said that it was a decent temperature. We literally had to leave the front door and window open just to get the room temp down to 77 degrees. How can an entire hotel (lobby, recp., hallways) be air conditioned, but not the rooms we pay to sleep in! Will never be staying at another BW again.
