Pleasant would recommend
Pros:

Pleasant and local ro the relatives I was visiting. Took my dog which was a bonus. Staff friendly and breakfast good apart from the overcooked bacon! We ate in the hotel for evening meal which was also very good. Only downside for me was no electric car charging. Had travelled considerable distance and then needed to find another location to charge my car which was inconvenient after a long journey and interrupted our stay

Cons:

No car chargers,

Il posto meno bello della vacanza, ma è un best western nella periferia di Glasgow, non mi aspettavo nulla di più

Cons:

Semplicemente niente di che, nulla da segnalare né di positivo, né di negativo

Average
Pros:

Overall cleanliness and staff and services and beds were fine .

Cons:

There is a massive problem related to sound and on weekends there is party ongoing in the ground floor pub/ party area which is even shaking your floor and walls and this goes upto midnight ! Which is crazy and your families and children will not be able to sleep for this reason ! This is a massive massive problem here .

A warm welcome for a returning visit.
Pros:

Having stayed at The Garfield several times when travelling alone for work it's lovely to have a warm welcome back by all staff and indeed, to be booked into my favourite room.

Cons:

Nothing to comment on.

Great for a business stay
Pros:

Beautiful building and lovely rooms. The restaurant was great and the food for both dinner and breakfast was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Some aspects of the accommodation were a little undermaintained. This made some parts feel a little bit tatty.

Would happily stay again as it was ideal for our visit to Glasgow easy to find after a fairly lo
Pros:

We ate in the restaurant one evening and had breakfast twice food and service was excellent, though there was a little confusion over our orders one morning🙂

Cons:

Overall a nice place just looking a little tired, and maybe a bit more attention to maintaining and checking rooms, there were two lamps out in our room and the bathroom door rubbed on the floor and needed a good shove to open it properly (Room 41) but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean though.
