Would have balked at £65 a night not at all impressed with £100!
Pros:

Close to centre. No breakfast taken

Cons:

Location run down . Adjacent property could pass as derelict Bates motel. One Painted shut window. No double glazing on main road position. Cobwebs covered windows outside . Room facilities were all there but random layout. Very grubby presentation.

Great location
Pros:

Very good location, close to all amenities. Ample parking available at the hotel. Room had everything we needed for an overnight and was clean and tidy. Didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that but overall nice place to stay. Would use again 👍

Cons:

Lots of stairs as the room was in the attic.

What made my stay was the pleasant helpful staff
Pros:

Breakfast was a well supplied buffet with plenty of choice.
It was laid out in the conservatory - a peaceful, pleasant room.

Cons:

I pulled the curtains because of the sun/heat intending that they remain closed all day -
they were opened by housekeeping which meant the room was hotter than it needed to be.

Convenient and comfortable, food was generous and excellent breakfast.
Pros:

Very good location close to the town centre. I walked down to the River Trent and saw Newark Castle.
