Great location - charming neighbourhood and very quiet. Well situated to walk to nearby restaurants and drive to the location out of town for our business meeting. I was leading were a party of 5 and all my colleagues happy with the accommodation. Decor throughout the hotel was chic and understated. Restaurant food was superb (highly recommend the halibut and eggs at breakfast). Staff were without exception friendly, attentive and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable- I would have loved some real coffee bags instead of instant coffee and some bottles of water or a water cooler nearby. All communal areas were clean and charming- as others have said there was a really ‘calm’ atmosphere. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to colleagues or friends and family.
Warm welcome at reception. Spotless room & bathroom. Comfortable bed. Enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine on the terrace. Excellent breakfast. Food in the bistro also very good. Great cappuccinos. Looking forward to my next stay.
All the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, I liked the lounge and breakfast areas. The hotel was delightfully quiet, despite being very near a main road. The breakfast was a paradox, perfectly poached eggs. However....
Breakfast on toasted white bread (I asked for this) which was the grimmest toast I've had since last century, thin and soggy. At home I usually have Pane Pugliese from Waitrose it's delicious perhaps you should try it and see how it goes down? The room whilst being value for money, affordable was small and the bed really wasn't the most comfortable ever.
I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was very well located and a good place to stay when I was recently in Norwich.
The room was very clean and the bathroom was well appointed (i had a room in the cottages.) The staff were very friendly and helpful, the only problem I had was on the first (of two mornings), the breakfast took a long time to be served, but the second day it was quicker. Having said that the food was good and the ambience was calm and so a good way to start the day.

The location was convenient for a nights stay. The room was basic but comfortable. We didn't use any other facilities but other guests looked like they were satisfied.
We could hear other guests moving around, the light in the bathroom was very bright and could do with a night light. The pillows were either too hard, too soft, too low or too high. I suffer with neck pain so wished I had my own pillow.

Not an easy hotel for elderly either some mobility issues.No lift available and this is not made clear on their website. Also, shower, though good was over a bath eith no handle for aiding getting in and out!
