Relaxing plesant stay
Pros:

Staff were all friendly and welcoming, nice little outdoor area to sit when it is hot, nice and relaxed ambience. I had a air con room which was ideal as it was a hot night. Room small but fine and clean!

Cons:

Pillow was a bit hard but thats more personal preference than the pillows!

Its fine, Ok breakfast if you need it, bit tight on space overall.
Pros:

Easy to find, easy to check in and out
Pleasant ambience.

Cons:

Parking was tight, I parked in the car park when I needed to, but it is a squeeze.
The room was roasting hot on the first two evenings of arriving as the curtains/blinds had been left open and the heating was running. I did ask on the 2nd occasion for the curtains to be left closed and they did do this.

Family stay - alternative to airbnb
Pros:

We stayed in the Garden House, which is a separate building to the main hotel, has 2 bedrooms, including bunk beds for the kids and a living / kitchen area. Everything was lovely and the room is of high quality - especially for the low price. The hotel is very well located and has a free car park also.
Having a fridge in the room, some fresh milk would have been good rather than small UHT cartons, but we got milk from the bar so wasn't a big problem.
Breakfast was great with a lot of choice and included in our rate. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others needing somewhere to stay beyond a single hotel room.

Great break in Norwich.
Pros:

The george Hotel is a fantastic place to have a few days in Norwich. The staff were very helpful from the minute we walked in. The room was lovely and the air conditioning was a really great addition. The seafood shairing platter was the best thing we have eaten in a long time. The pimms drink made for me was delicious with almost a fruit salad in it. Would recommend this gem of a hotel.

Lovely overnight stay.
Pros:

Absolutely lovely staff in all areas - a credit to the hotel. Very comfortable bed and our room was shady and cool and the Aircon was definitely welcome!
Breakfast was freshly cooked and the staff were excellent. Free parking was a
real bonus.

Lovely people and very welcoming
Pros:

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Relaxed atmosphere and very clean.

Cons:

The rooms aren’t sound proofed ( given the age of the building that’s understandable) so not great if you are a light sleeper.

Pros:

The staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. The bed was comfy.

Cons:

I only didn't like that there was no air con because it was immensely hot when I stayed. It was during the heatwave in the UK. They did provide a a fan though.
