The Station Hotel

This was probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed in!
We were in room 2.
The bed was lumpy with springs poking through, very difficult to get comfortable or move without disturbing my wife.
There were no bedside cabinets, so things had to be put on the floor..
The only light had a switch by the door meaning getting out of bed to switch it off!
The shower room was so small (6" between the toilet and shower) meaning it was impossible to sit on the toilet, or dry oneself.
The shower was broken making it impossible to adjust, and water dripped from the taps continuously.
After reporting the broken shower, we were offered another room, but as we were getting ready to eat we stupidly refused.
The final straw was when we were told the hotel no longer served breakfast

Shower pressure was very low and the bathroom small.

My room was a little tired and bed was bordering on uncomfortable

Not very nice and smelt damp. Cracks in walls, bed head was wonky. Shower was really hard to turn on and off and it leaked.

Their bed is bad, the fridge in the room is not working

Rooms clean but carpets very dirty
No breakfast offered

Just keep up on things

The bed was uncomfortable
The walls were thin; I could hear the person in the next room turning in bed.
The room smelt when the window was closed; traffic noise made it essential it was closed.
The shared bathroom door was noisy.

It was near station literally across the road. So very convenient. And shop were near too.

Room poorly laid out. No bedside lamps and a toilet - lacking a lid - that you couldn’t sit on properly due to lack of space. Shower head was leaking and not fixed properly (we had to repair it ourselves). Also, what I presume was the sound of a water pump, going off every 20 seconds (3 times a minute, 180 times an hour) all night led to a less than good night’s sleep.
Staff were pleasant, sheets and towels clean, but bed lumpy.
Was charged £75 for the night (with no breakfast) for double room for 2 people. If I’d been charged half of that, I would still consider it too much for the standard of accommodation offered.

The water heater made a very loud noise right throughout the night, resulting in zero sleep for the guests in rooms 4 and 5. No air conditioning or fan available un the room.
