Easy to locate, Paul on reception explained everything to me regarding my stay, he is an asset to the hotel 🏨, also advised a safe location for my motorcycle 🏍 to park up.
Room was on the small side but adequate for my needs on a one nights stay.
It was warm , 24° but I found a tower style a / c unit in a cupboard.
Slept on top of the bed 🛌 during the night 🌙.
Shower 🚿 was adequate for me.
Breakfast was served by a pleasant girl who brought my tea & breakfast & asked if I would like sauce etc.
The breakfast room had a quiet / calm ambience which I prefer.
Check out, again, by Paul was quickly dealt with.
I shall certainly return in a few months & choose this establishment.
All team members were pleasant & helpful.

I felt very welcome almost like staying family
The hotel is situated across the road from Peasolm Park and within easy walking distance of the beach.
The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming.
This was our third stay at the hotel. Twice we occupied a Standard Room, once a Superior Room.
The Standard was on the second floor, easily accessible by lift, to the rear of the building. Smaller than the Superior but with all the necessary facilities. Very quiet.
The Superior was on the first floor, to the front of the building, with views of the castle and open air theatre. Very quiet.
The hotel is very well maintained and cleaned.
The Lounge is large, very comfortable, a good place to meet people. There is a good choice of food and drinks available during the day. This time Gluten free scones were a delight.
A very well equipped games room and swimming pool are outstanding facilities.
The restaurant is where excellent food is available for breakfast and evening meals. Very rarely have I come across a hotel with such a good selection of Gluten free available at such good quality and very reasonable prices.
Looking forward to our next visit.
What a gem of a hotel! A warm welcome, lovely room (I booked a single) which was very clean and comfortable.
The pool is small but again, spotlessly clean. Lovely jacuzzi, steam room was closed for repair, but I was notified before my arrival.
Quiet location, but short walk to Peasholm Park and a little further to the beach.

Stayed here for 3 nights in the Donaldson suite while visiting Scarborough , got no complaints as the room was very well decorated , laid out and clean with a nice balcony to sit on and watch the world go by with views of the sea and Scarborough castle.
Situated across the road from peasholm park and a good 15-20 min walk into town centre or take the coast road in about 30-40 mins.
Staff were all friendly and would go out there way if you had any requests.
Breakfast was good with small selection of cereals and a small cooked to order menu. If I’m honest not the best we’ve had but was still good and kept us filled up till late lunch, didn’t eat dinner at hotel so can’t comment there.
There is a small car park and plenty of parking on surrounding roads. Probrably would stay here again if in the area.
We celebrated our sisters 50th birthday this weekend and the staff couldn’t do enough for us above and beyond

Very spacious and set in a good location ..even though for such a large hotel it only offered a small car park on a first come first serve basis we managed to park just over on the road side .
the only two issues we personally had was that they only served main meals for an hour ..and that the breakfast were quite expensive and not in with the cost of the rooms .
Located 5min walk from the beach, 5min walk from the open air theater, 10min walk from water Park. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely food. We can't recommend this hotel enough ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Possible the worse hotel in scarborough. Food was awfull and there was a chef lady with spikey hair walking about with a face like thunder, speaking to her staff like crap. Will never return
