Good location, traditional atmosphere and good value.
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at Murni’s House. The location was great — it felt peaceful and was nicely elevated above the noise of the road and shops, while still being close enough to walk to everything. The spa treatment was also very relaxing.

The traditional Balinese-style accommodation gave us a lovely local experience and it was good value for money.

Cons:

The only downside for us was the noise at night. We were sharing the third floor with a family occupying the other few rooms, and they were moving between rooms, hanging around in the corridor, slamming doors and talking loudly until around midnight. This made it difficult to sleep. The space is small and the older doors can be noisy when they aren’t closed carefully, so this is something light sleepers may want to consider.

A fantastic, relaxing experience, beautifully landscaped setting, walking distance to everything.
Pros:

Murni’s far exceeded our expectations.
It is a lovely little tranquil oasis, so close to the busy main road and stores, but so quiet. The staff were lovely, the spa was amazing, the pool is wonderful, the breakfast cheap and delicious.
We met Murni who is a lovely local lady, who gave us her time and advice, and invited us to accompany her to a local ceremony.
The room was ever nicer than the photos. 11 out of 10 for everything.

Cons:

Nothing needs to be improved on, our stay was perfect.

uno spiacevole inconveniente mi fa dubitare che la loro gentilezza sia solo di facciata. Al check out la cassaforte della camera non si apre, non riusciamo a prendere quanto c era dentro, i numeri lampeggiano tutti, sembra un corto, segnaliamo, Provano con le chiavi elettroniche di sblocco e di 3 due non funzionano e una era o si è rotta nel tentativo di aprire. Ci hanno fatto aspettare ore in attesa di un tecnico senza nemmeno offrirci un bicchiere d’acqua o preoccuparsi troppo per quanto stava accadendo. E dulcis in fundo ci hanno fatto pagare per intero l’ intervento del tecnico!! Come se il problema fosse causato da noi. Pur di ripartire, ormai fattasi sera tardi e non parlando bene inglese, abbiamo pagato ma siamo rimasti veramente ma veramente amareggiati e delusi; e se avessimo avuto un aereo lo avremmo perso. …Non ci si comporta così. Pessimi.

Beautiful, peaceful, safe, traditional Ubud property with so much character. Great staff !!
Pros:

The staff at Murni's were just beautiful, so helpful, happy and genuinely interestedino us during our stay. Dude to a physical impairment, the staff accommodated a change of room with minimal delay to allow us to continue to enjoy the property and its facilities, for which we were very grateful.

Cons:

It was not so much a case of not liking anything, but the breakfast menu could have been a little more extensive. also we were not aware that there was no restaurant on site, BUT in a huge plus, Murni's at Warung is an amazing place to dine and only a short walk from the property.
