Had it all
Pros:

Cool, quirky rooms, fantastic on-site cafe for dinner and breakfast. Loved the spa bath in the room. Short walk to beach. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would happily return here.

Great vibe and fun place to stay - particularly if you like live music.
Pros:

Stayed only one night, would have loved to have stayed longer.
There was great music playing, so we bought tickets and got the offer to watch and have dinner from the balcony.
Music finished around 9-30 so it wasn't going to disturb anyone's sleep.
It was a great night. Steve is an amazing host.

Cons:

Bathroom cleaning could have been better (mould in the shower)

A bit disappointing compared to previous stays
Pros:

The themed rooms are quirky.

Cons:

I didn’t find the staff very friendly or accommodating. The restaurant didn’t provide breakfast and wasn’t opened for dinner. When we arrived the bar was still open and we ordered a cocktail but they wouldn’t make it for us. I am a return customer and have stayed at the hotel several times so was a bit disappointed.

Pros:

Cute room, nice decor. Bed was comfortable. Nice to have a balcony with plenty of seating. The record collection was cute however many were scratched and unable to be played and enjoyed.

Cons:

- little to no cutlery, including limited disposable picnic cutlery and a few metal pieces. Not enough for the amount of beds!
- 1 plate and 2 small bowls for room sleeping six
- small fridge made a racket and would change noise levels throughout the night waking us up
- aircon needed in the room, but the motor must have been under the floor as it would vibrate through the room and I couldn’t sleep
- shower sprayed in all directions, not good for those wishing to not wash their hair. The shower flooded the bathroom after 2 showers even using the bath mat

Nice place.friendly and comfortable. Perhaps a tad too expensive for what it is but it is nice

A notch above a local motel. A bit of care out into the rooms and the place. Has really good black out curtains which made it easy to sleep in a bit.
