Passable for a night

Staff on reception were polite

Cons:

Room needs an upgrade. Room was not well ventilated which made it difficult when you shower. Room needs attention and an upgrade especially parts of the celling which unfortunately looks like it had been removed recently or suffered a leak?

Bathroom though was clean, was not practical. You have to use the toilet before using the shower, so if there’s 2 of you sharing a room you have to plan how to shower if not one of you might have to be in shower water whilst using the loo.

Overall it was good. I guess you get for what you pay
Pros:

Very convenient for commuting to any area in London. A lot of folks of options for Pakistan/ Indian food.

Cons:

Area was not clean. Needed coins for self service laundry but no provision of getting cash from store and no nearby banks. The ATM charged 12% fee to draw cash with horrible conversion rate.

Gute Lokation für einen kurzen London trip
Pros:

Nah an Bus und Bahn Station. Restaurants und Cafés sind direkt gegenüber. Man ist sehr schnell im Zentrum .

Laureta and all the staff are great, great location, comfy rooms, I'd definitely stay again!
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location, very central. The room was very good value for money, it was clean but the best thing was the staff; they were incredibly welcoming, kind, helpful and warm, Laureta was especially helpful, accommodating and just really lovely and they are a big part of the reason that I'd definitely stay again.

Really great hotel, that was is a brilliant location
Pros:

Overall the hotel was in a great location, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, able to contact via WhatsApp if you needed anything.
The room was spacious, clean and tidy with all amenities you could need.

Check out was originally 11am, but I was given complimentary late check out until 1pm. I arranged this via WhatsApp.

Thanks very to everyone at The Whitechapel Hotel in making our stay a truly memorable one ❤️

Very disappointing stay.
Pros:

The staff on the reception desk were lovely and kind.

Cons:

We were very disappointed with our stay. The sink plug was stuck and would not open, so we had to wash our hands in the shower. The shower also did not drain properly.

The bed was tiny and not a normal double bed, even though we had booked a standard double room. The thermostat did not work, and although we were given an air conditioning unit, we had to keep the window open to use it. This meant there was a lot of noise outside, making it difficult to sleep.

Overall, we slept terribly and were very disappointed with the room and our stay.

Very nice, I'd stay here again.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly, welcoming, and responsive. I was welcomed by Ammar and also spoke to Laureta who were both very helpful.

My room was clean and comfortable, the coffee machine was a nice touch.

Cons:

There was no milk to make a cup of tea - you cannot make drinkable tea with coffee creamer! The freeview channels don't work on the TV, and the phone in the room wasn't working.

Im really happy about my short stay in general.
Pros:

Good location with great access to central
London + ensuite room + AC + good food options nearby

Nm- but sometimes a bit of a smell especially if I opened the window
