A comfortable and fuss-free stay at a very reasonable price.
Pros:

Plenty of easy parking. Attractive frontage. Welcoming helpful staff who were always on hand. Spacious ground floor reception, bar and restaurant area. Very nice room ( a suite of two rooms).where everything worked. A fan in bedroom was a welcome touch in this hot weather.

Cons:

Nothing I didn't like.

Pros:

Good location, stop over to break up journey. Newmillerdam is a nice little hamlet with a good choice of eaters. There is a small lake which has pleasant walks.
The hotel was clean with all the facilities we required. What made the stay was the staff who were very efficient and helpful.

Cons:

With the hot weather it was difficult to keep cool in the rooms.

Nice area, but very basic OLD hotel
Pros:

Room was clean, very basic and very warm (no fan provided)
Shower was good
Breakfast was OK

Cons:

Old furnishings, water was crazy hot for some unknown reason, NO fan and room was very hot
No fridge
Be careful with the ANPR parking facilities, I forgot to enter my number plate details when I checked in and only realized in the morning at check out, seems I will will get an automatic fine which the hotel did say I could contact them to cancel.
