time there, lovely location 25 mins walk across part of the golf course to reach a great pub. Hotel has good menu selection for dinner and great buffet breakfast. Lovely spacious room with a bath.

Paid for aircon but it didn’t work.
Cons:

I booked a room with air conditioning but it didn’t work. I paid about £20 extra for this. I met other residents with a similar complaint. The maintenance guy came along and confirmed that it wasn’t working at all. He said it couldn’t keep up with the demand. But we don’t need aircon when it is cold! These are the conditions when it should work! I feel like I was ripped off for the extra fee. It was a deluxe room apparently but I only slept there. The decor may have been better but no Nespresso machine or mini-bar as in other “deluxe” rooms.
The breakfast didn’t include anything more than filter coffee. I think they need to get a modern bean to cup machine for the residents to operate themselves at breakfast. I accept that the barista machine puts too much of a load on the staff.

Great location for work, celebrations or leisure
Pros:

Spa, leisure facilities and views from room were stunning. Beautiful location and staff were lovely and friendly. I had my evening meal in the bar and it was very nice good value for money.

Cons:

It was in the middle of a heatwave and the room was very warm, there were two fans supplied but air con would have been a benefit. Understand the logistics with the age of the building and the weather not always being so hot.

The breakfast was a little underwhelming. I am a vegetarian and the only hot options were beans, mushrooms and hashbrowns which were all ok. The eggs were fried and didn't look apetising at all so I gave them a miss. I would prefer scrambled eggs and maybe a meat alternative such as halumi or veggie sausage.

Welcome rest
Pros:

The hotel is really clean and the staff welcoming. The room was ideal and the swimming facilities brilliant.

Cons:

The wifi was patchy and I was trying to work so this was a little difficult.

Amazing facilities and food exceptional

Cons:

A rude bar staff and a bartender didn't know what he was doing
Couldn't have a bath as plug didn't work
Big dirty plaster in childs bedroom behind
No lid on toilet in 2nd bathroom this is disgusting for hygiene standards
Could never find barstaff ir receptionist

Dirty, out of date rooms with unhelpful staff, needs revamp.
Pros:

Overall stay was poor, nothing to report back regarding anything to like.

Cons:

Room was dirty. No Air Con or even a fan, the heat was unbearable which resulted in no sleep. Shower - water pressure was terrible. General Staff weren’t very helpful when asking for help to phone a taxi. Receptionist was the only person that helped out.

A good location for Cadwell Park and would definitely stay here again.

The location was stunning and all the staff extremely friendly. Very quiet location and the views over the golf course were lovely.

A comfortable, reasonably priced hotel close to Cadwell Park
Pros:

Very efficient check-in, friendly and effective staff, comfortable room in the cottage annexe with good facilities - including enough electrical sockets! - and a very comfortable bed, good food (though not a huge choice) in the restaurant for dinner

Cons:

Very noisy bathroom fan that went on for far too long after the light was switched off, lots of noise t the back of the main building late at night (staff clearing up?), very noticeable in a ground-floor room with windows open to get cool air - no air conditioning
