The hotel had AC which is why we picked it at the last minute, as the inn we were originally staying at that night showed us a room that must have been 100 degrees when we walked in. The food was excellent - both dinners and breakfasts were well cooked, hot and obviously served to order. Value for money was amazing especially given the meal allowance for dinner. The room was large, comfortable with a huge bathroom. I would highly recommend as it was only about 15 minutes drive from Sherwood Forest visitors center which was our intended destination.

Central location in Worksop. Very comfortable room with great bed. Quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Good in room refreshments. Free car park if you get lucky and find a space.
Room was hot
Overall our stay was very good. Staff are very friendly. Very grateful for the fan. I loved the fact they gave you a sheet to use instead of the duvet. Drink prices were very reasonable. For the price we paid very good value for money. Breakfast was good.
Some of the rooms could do with a lick of paint and some touch ups. When walking to our room a few doors had what looked like punch holes in. We ordered the hot honey burger in the evening, chicken was very dry. For breakfast would have been nice to maybe have more selection on the table.

Tv remote didn’t work. New batteries needed
Bath plug faulty wouldn’t open fully so Bath filled up when showereing and had to be wedged open to drain
Bedroom was the furthest room away from the bar/restaurant.
Bedroom and corridor Door closers slammed doors closed, waking us up in the night.
