Location & size of room. Excellent bathroom.
Not told you had to request the room to be serviced. No bar or evening food available.
Great location - even though didn't have sea view could still hear the sea
The bar was shut - previously parents had visited the bar for a drink and sea view
The Location is perfect
On arrival, we were told the boiler had broken. so there was no hot water, no food and no bar..
Having driven all day to arrive this is not what you expect to hear.
They had our phone number, as they had previously called 3 times to confirm we were attending, could they not call us to explain the issues.

Clean and well decorated
A recent change of ownership has changed from a superb hotel to an impersonal bed and breakfast with no other meals and no bar. Doors close st 5pm and entry is by entering numbers
A strong complaint at Booking.com for not detailing the present situation and change.
Mike was wonderful and a true asset to this hotel thank you for the wonderful service. We will definitely be retuning this is our favorite hotel in Cowes

There were no staff on duty, no cctv, no bar or restaurant. We didn’t bother staying at the hotel because it had such a horrible feel to it. We checked in to the Union Inn in Cowes instead which was the complete opposite.

The Manager, Mike, was amazing and Chris the reception was very helpful. The hotel has an amazing location and the sea view room (no 11) truly delivered. We had a problem, which was attended to immediately. Great plans coming so worth a stay
Unfortunately, the hot water was not working, but we met an amicable resolution very quickly, other than that, no issues

Morgenmad fra 7.30 men døren var spærret og kokken blev rasende over at man gik ind da han ventede et stort selskab på 15 mand og man måtte ikke gå ind. Men alle andre gæster på hotellet har jo også morgenmad fra 7.30?? Servicen var total ringe og ikke muligt at få et stykke ristet brød lidt før 7.30 hvis man var nødt til at gå tidligere end morgenmad. Alle dage var døren spærret. Har aldrig oplevet noget lignende før. Kan ikke anbefale at overnatte her.
Hotel very close to sea and nice walks and clean room
Nice friendly staff, good parking facilities . Good location on the sea front with lovely views. The room was a good size with a large double bed .
The shower hose in our room was not very good hardly any water flow from it so couldn’t use it . The hotel has no alcohol license at present which we weren’t aware of.

It would have been nice if there was a bar at the hotel. Also, no staff appeared to be at the hotel in the evening when I arrived, just in the morning for breakfast,
I found the bed to be comfortable however my family found the beds to be very soft. We had one night left and decided to move to another hotel for a good nights sleep. Hotel has had a paint job in the hallway but also had a very high pitched ringing noise in reception.
The shower didn't work at all. It trickled out and was filthy. The noise from the heating system was incredibly loud. The rooms were not as advertised and were very tired. The window looked into next doors window so you couldn't have the curtain open. You couldn't have the light on in the bathroom due to the extraction being too loud. No bar or coffee facilities outside of our room. The reception staff were very unfriendly. Another person was complaining and they refused to apologise. A long walk to town and we ended up driving everyday. My mothers room had a window that was stuck so it couldn't be opened. Heated towel rail in room didn't heat up.

No restaurant, bar not open, general feeling of the property being run down. Not the hotel that the description led us to believe and definitely not the hotel where we stayed and celebrated our daughter’s wedding. Other guests moaning about standard.
