If you are with us for multiple nights we would not usually service your room during your stay, however we can on request. Please let us know on check-in if you would like your room to be serviced during each day of your stay.
Please note: The guestrooms are located on three floors and a elevator/elevator offers access to the first two floors with stair access to all three. Due to the original architecture of our Georgian period property all floors have varying levels and do require some access via steps/stairs. Assistance is always readily available.
The hotel is a very popular venue for weddings and events over the weekends and occasional weekdays and has music until late that may affect some of our guest rooms.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Nice old building. Could do with a few upgrades
There was a wedding and party that took over the hotel in and out. Would have like to have been told sooner.
The building itself is beautiful
The curtains, decorative pillow and bed runners smelled.
No aircon
The building was probably fabulous in its day but like most large houses converted to hotels it is very tired and in need of a renovation.
It was very dated!
My room was on the slant so the blood rushed to your head whilst sleeping. The furniture and decor was way, way past its sell by date. As an overbite is what was okay but I wouldn’t recommend or stay here again.
Beautiful building in lovely grounds

Located in a very pretty village but only a short drive to lots of Somerset attractions. Staff were very attentive.
The building was a little "tired" but I still liked its old-fashioned atmosphere. Breakfast was disappounting if you didn't want a cooked one.
Loved the hotel and all the staff were excellent. We stayed bed and breakfast, the food was excellent and a good choice.
The mattresses in our room could do with changing. We ended up taking off the duvet cover and sleeping on the duvet, luckily it was warm and the duvet cover was enough
Mattress was super uncomfortable. Felt like sleeping on concrete.

Well priced property on the outskirts of Bath, lovely location.
A bit tired. Not a complaint but caters for coach trips so a busy rush at times.

The location is lovely. Smart tv a bonus. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff in the morning.
Apparently we had been upgraded to the executive room.
Our room was cold, after fiddling for ages with the radiators, we realised it was off. I went to the reception and had to request heating. I was provided with oil radiator which worked fine but was not told this on arrival.
Our bedroom is located over the car park and above the entrance door. There was constant noise of people laughing, joking /talking on phones, having a smoke below our window until 12am.
Had the original room been offered to us we may have slept better.
Turned the tap on in bathroom to fill kettle, it spat out a lot of air and water over me.
There was a lot of dust on the lamp beside the bed. Furniture old and a bit tired.
Did not really feel "executive". Wrong wording really.
I received 2 parking fines from the parking operator despite filling out the required details. On top of this I received 2 x admin fees from hire car company.
I have received no help from the hotel to fix the issue and so am out of pocket 180BGP
Esteticamente la location è molto beĺla ed immersa nel verde
Camera per 3 persone ma con pochi spazi a disposizione per le valige, anche il bagno senza appoggi.
Situato vicino alla fermata dell'autobus per la citta di Bath che però ha una frequenza di 1 ogni ora
Loved the location, and food. The staff were also brilliant
The bed was very small. The walls were paper thin so I didnt sleep the first night with people walking in the corridors past the room all night, and the person in the room next to us snored all night so loud.
We had dinner in the restaurant the first night, the dinner was fabulous abd the staff were great, however the noise from the wedding that was taking place ruined the atmosphere the music was so loud and then the radio was turned on in the restaurant aswel so we were listening to adds and two different sets of music so it was horrible I couldn't wait to leave the restaurant to escape the noise.
