If you are with us for multiple nights we would not usually service your room during your stay, however we can on request. Please let us know on check-in if you would like your room to be serviced during each day of your stay.
Please note: The guestrooms are located on three floors and a elevator/elevator offers access to the first two floors with stair access to all three. Due to the original architecture of our Georgian period property all floors have varying levels and do require some access via steps/stairs. Assistance is always readily available.
The hotel is a very popular venue for weddings and events over the weekends and occasional weekdays and has music until late that may affect some of our guest rooms.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Amazing location, wonderful views but easy access to Bath. Had twin room on ground floor with its own terrace next to garden. We ordered from bar menu and they brought to us, passed tray over fence.
Right next to bar, and open to terrace and garden so if a busy weekend may be noisy. We were there mid week so was absolutely fine.
Die Zimmer sehr sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen herrlichen Blick in die Landschaft. Positiv ist auch, dass der Bahnhof gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Von dort ist kann man Bath sehr schnell erreichen. Nicht so gut gefallen hat uns das Restaurant/ der Frühstücksraum. Der Saal ist sehr nüchtern und recht ungemütlich. Er lädt nicht zum Verweilen ein. Von der Terrasse aus hat man allerdings einen tollen Blick auf die schöne Umgebung. Das Essen ist nicht gut. Auch das Frühstück war enttäuschend.

Location was very good. Cleaning staff did an excellent job
The room was very small for 3 nights. The staff did their job. The menu never changed. We did not think it was value.
Ensuite Bathroom - shower pressure was very low and shower could not be used. Bathroom was dated but clean.
Room - lovely - comfortable, big sunny windows, quiet, comfortable bed.
Breakfast - fruit salad, yogurt, pastries, cooked breakfast all great. Better bread for toast would be appreciated!
Wedding - our daughter's wedding here was wonderful! The reception went like clockwork. Our dedicated breakfast area for wedding guests the morning after was lovely too. One suggestion - chill wedding breakfast white wines more and have ice buckets on tables, don't pour all welcome fizz at once - keep fizz bottles on ice.

The black and yellow hazard tape on steps - out of kilter with the handsome building and bar and reception areas. Replace with white tape?

Joli endroit style petit manoir, un peu vieillot. Personnel très accueillant. Chouette terrasse avec vue sur les environs.
Petit dej ok mais sans plus. Parking dispo mais fort rempli, il y avait un mariage ce qui n’a pas aidé. Nous comptions aller manger sur Bath et n’avons pas osé bouger au risque de perdre notre place et ne plus savoir garer la voiture en revenant car pas de dispo autour de l’hôtel
Das Personal war nicht gerade sehr freundlich und kundenorientiert. Vor allem wurden bereits früh in den Nebenräumen laut die Staubsauger rausgeholt und die Schmutzwäsche und sonstige Utensilien lagen rechts und links auf dem Gang. Man musste bei der Ankunft als auch bei der Abreise Slalom Laufen mit den Kofferm. Das Personal hat das nicht gekümmert. Die Lage und Terrasse sind schön. Die Zimmer sauber aber recht dunkel.

La posizione: serve l’auto per arrivare però il borgo in cui si trova vale la pena essere visitato. Magnifico contesto stile cotswolds. L’hotel è antico e affascinante . Colazione mediamente buona , un po scarsa ma sufficiente
La localisation et le parking grauit
Établissement très vétusté y compris la chambre. Petit déjeuner très moyen.
