Bit expensive
The position is next to a golf course two small shops and a car garage. Long beach walks. Quite , its position is in a cul-de-sac,

Good, clean comfortable room with a Seaview.
The shower room was very small and tight. Door was nearly hitting the wash-hand basin . The shower however was a good size.
Lovely staff, really good evening meal and a fine breakfast. Would go back with my family. Sauna and pool were great.
Very nice, lovely pool, friendly staff
A bit pricey
Very clean and rooms/bathrooms seemed recently renovated. For a single room, it was exactly what I needed. The views from downstairs were also very nice.
In the summer, having access to the pools/sauna a little bit later would be really nice. I didn’t have a car so making it back to the property after hiking by bus usually meant the pool and sauna were already closed.
Location. Friendly helpfull staff. Good breakfast. Plenty places to sit and enjoy the view.
Unfriendly, noisy locals in the bar blocking doors and route in and out although the area was not busy. We were travelling with a friend who has a disability. They made it difficult for him to move through the bar. It was not a comfortable situation.
It is a shame as everything else was fantastic.

Fantastic sunset
The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and a good sea view. The ensuite facilities very very good.
As Kinloch Hotel is quite remote, we chose to eat in the restaurant on the first evening. Prior to going down for dinner, we reviewed the restaurant menu online and were pleasantly surprized by the array of meals on offer. However, when we were given the evening menu, the choices were considerably less. When we compared the two Evening menus, the menu on the hotel website had 16 Main Dishes and 5 burgers whereas the Evening menu (excluding the specials) we were offered in the restaurant had only 10 main dishes and 3 burgers on offer. We sent an e mail to the hotel as soon as we arrived back in our room, but to date, I have not received a reply. Consequently, we eat out in Lamlash and Brodick for the remaining two nights of our stay. In the morning, we also found the breakfast was below our expectations. Guests are not free to help themselves to the cooked breakfast, they are served by one of the waiting staff. The eggs were so overcooked they were very disappointing. Having complained via e mail and having no response, we noted that we were asked every morning at breakfast whether we would be eating at the hotel that evening. The staff almost seemed awkward when asking us as if they had been warned to be on their guard against us.
