The environment of the hotel
Beautiful views mean you relax as soon as you arrive. We paid for a room with a view and it was worth every penny. Staff really helpful. Receptionist Linda very helpful which ensured we made the most of our short visit.
Cupboard in bedroom smelt rather musty.

Das Zimmer hatte viel zu wenig Licht, dürftige Beleuchtung. Mit der Nachttischlampe lesen unmöglich.
Bei den vielen Gästen war das Frühstücksbuffet sehr schnell leer, wurde nur langsam aufgefüllt
Lovely, picturesque hotel. We were here for a family funeral and the hotel could not to more for us. Were so so kind, our rooms were lovely, and the function rooms and food were great.
The breakfast is great, with buffet continental and hot food made to order.
I think the hotel has been part done up, and our room was just a bit older, the other rooms were lovely, so think it’s a timing thing! Still a lovely hotel with great amenities and great grounds

The view down across Cardiff from the property is lovely. We could see it from the window in our room. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the buffet of fruit, yoghurt, pastries and toast. My partner had a cooked breakfast which was very tasty.
We absolutely loved our one night stay at this fabulous Gem of a hotel what a view over looking Cardiff city centre & surroundings .
The staff were lovely . Best week end away ever ! We will be back… very soon .
