The room was spacious spotlessly clean and the bed extremely comfortable.
The breakfast was cooked to order , great selection and very tasty. The staff were friendly, professional and polite.
The staff and the view and the food was very good too!
Beautiful location, stunning spacious bedroom and a lovely large bathroom with a nice rainforest shower and a separate bath tub. The breakfast options were delicious and the bar was great. Staff were incredibly helpful with a special shout out to Lovelle for the exceptional service on our last evening. Hopefully we will be back someday!
There was nothing I didn’t like! However just a couple suggestions-
-Sweet breakfast options for the future? French toast, waffles, buttermilk pancakes with fruit etc.
-more attractive stemware in the bar area. There’s a great wine and spirit selection but I’m very particular about my wine and champagne glasses.

- das Wc hatte leider unschöne Resten der vorherigen Gäste und da wir nach unserer Ankunft dringend auf die Toilette mussten und nach Cardiff City hatten wir keine Zeit, um es zu melden, aber dies darf nicht vorkommen v.a. nicht in ein solches Hotel
- keinen Lift (mühsam wenn man schweres Gepäck dabei hat)

The pillows were very uncomfortable
Stayed here for our first night of walking the Cambrian Way, as it's about 1km from the route, with the Travellers Rest pub in between for a well-earned pint and great menu, as we knew we wouldn't meet the 'smart/casual' dress code to dine at the hotel! The hotel was far more luxurious than our usual style, so it was a real treat for us. The staff were lovely - friendly and welcoming - and the breakfast was excellent (cooked to order, along with a good selection of continental as well).

We booked a better room with a view and paid a higher price for it. We arrived late and were tired, so we didn’t pay much attention at first to the fact that the room did not match the photos provided. In the morning, we noticed that the “view” from the window was directly facing a wall just a couple of meters away.
We contacted the receptionist in the morning to raise a complaint, as we clearly did not receive the room we had booked. She told us that these were the only rooms they had left and said she would pass the complaint on to management. However, we never heard anything back from the hotel. No apology, no compensation.
This is neither acceptable nor professional behavior.

Plenty of parking
Not a dislike as worked fine for us. Liked the quietness! Although not far, you would need a car/ taxi to get into Cardiff centre.
The room I stayed in no29 has no view .
The breakfast is quite good
I dont understand why they use the same menu in the restaurant and in the bar and the same price.
And no small item like a sandwich or portion of chips

Wow the views were amazing such a lovely find will be coming back soon hopefully. The room had the best lighting i have ever had in any room i have stayed in. The staff were excellent very friendly and so helpful. I cant think of anything bad to say. Thankyou for a amazing stay.
