Schitterend oud landhuis.
Location is fabulous. Stylish hotel, nice breakfast.
Didn’t like being charged £27 for two Aperol Spritz which didn’t have any prosecco! Was very disappointed. Was given a bottle of wine for recompense but not great service as our visit was a special occasion. Had a lovely lunch but only hot food options available. Surprised that no salad, healthy or cold lunch options, especially in this hot weather. Checked with waitress who confirmed salad was not an option! Otherwise a lovely hotel and would recommend.
Niets!
It was amazing thank you new house x
Absolutely nothing all fabulous
The grounds
Went to have a bath after going to a concert. There was a tide/scum line where the last person had bathed. We needed to clean the bath before use. The room was supposed to be a twin but was a double which turned the situation I was in quite awkward.
The hotel is aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are charming. The location is favourable, situated a few miles from the centre. The staff are courteous. They also allow pets, which is a bonus.
Regrettably, the establishment was understaffed, resulting in delays. It is unclear whether this was due to scheduled events or simply a staffing shortage as per the rota, but it significantly impeded the ease of obtaining drinks and food. The rooms were quite charming; however, there were several cobwebs present.
Breakfast was great
The one gripe we had was the TV was not connected to the Internet, it didn't bother us as such as we didn't really use it but for someone that was staying there longer it may have been an inconvenience
Very nice layout and spacious room with amazing view from balcony
A little pricey
Beautiful luxury hotel with stunning view of countryside overlooking Cardiff, Wales.
No fridge or fan in room.
Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We came to the Hotel because it was a fair price when all the Cardiff Hotels were ridiculously expensive due to The Cure being in the City for a Concert. We were very happy with our choice and would stay again. Reception were very helpful and let us Check In as soon as our room was ready and the Bar and Restaurant Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was varied and very good.
Nothing - all good !
The views were absolutely stunning
The piece and quiet was amazing
I have no negative comments
Very large and well equipped room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Fantastic view.
Only drawback was getting to and from the city centre requiring both a taxi and short train ride.
Beautiful location and absolutely stunning outside area
Breakfast took far too long and was not what we expected
