Lovely Hotel in a great location
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was really good too (and generous portions)

Amazing hotel and restaurant/bar
Pros:

Lovely hotel and bar/restaurant the air conditioning in the downstairs area was amazing during the hot weather.
Evening food and breakfast highly recommend great portions and lovely and fresh .
All the staff where genuinely lovely can't wait to return .

Cons:

No air conditioning in rooms but I do understand the financial cost of this. Genuinely not a complaint . Its a lovely hotel .

Ok for 1 night
Pros:

The food in the dinning room was beautiful, as was the breakfast, The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

The bedroom and bathroom were very cramped, no where to set your toiletries, The beds were very soft and wobbly. Have stayed here before , and it was lovely

Good decor, comfortable room (18) pleasant helpful staff. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast.

Cons:

Key problems with room 18 took several attempts and some time to resolve. Frustrating.

Pros:

We had a lovely stay at The Lounge hotel and bar ,the staff in both the hotel and the bar were polite and very helpful.We booked a table in the bar in the evening and the food was excellent and so was the Cumbrian breakfast we had the following morning.It is definitely a hotel we will return to on our next visit to Penrith .
