Der besuch hat sich gelohnt und wir werden es wiederholen
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine gute Ausstattung .Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und hat auch gut geschmeckt .Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr Zentral und gut zu erreichen .Die Altstadt ist in wenigen Minuten Fußläufig zu erreichen ,ebenso der gegenüberliegende Park direkt an den Grachten.

Fijn hotel in hartje Alkmaar
Pros:

Ideale locatie, in het centrum van Alkmaar en op loopafstand van het station. Ruime, nette kamer. Lekker ontbijt met genoeg keuze.

Cons:

De inrichting van de kamer en het hotel zelf is relatief ‘basic’. Er wordt gevraagd je vooraf aan te melden voor een bepaald tijdstip waarop je wilt ontbijten - dat laat zich niet altijd vooraf plannen als je een weekendje weg bent.

Great location but average comfort.
Pros:

Many food items not replenished when we arrived for the 9am time slot, especially on Friday. Location is excellent.

Cons:

No brochures for dining suggestions. The receptionist knew very little about what to recommend except two possibilities, one of which was very bad food, while the other was good. Knew of no Indonesian restaurants or upscale restaurants whatsoever. But that is okay. What is really bad here (disappointing) is the towels are paper thin and in very shabby shape! with air conditioning on due to the heat wave, towels do not dry. They stay absolutely wet. Also, the windows do not open so anything damp, stays damp. The mattress is also very soft so we both woke up with sore backs.

Heerlijk rustige plek en haven om te slapen midden kn de stad.
Pros:

Schoon, mooi ingericht passend bij de oude school, goede airco, vriendelijk personeel, loopafstand station. We konden de bagage ook eerder brengen en nog even laten staan ; fijn!

Apart from the windows. Really nice.

Nice hotel, good parking spot inside for the bikes.

The windows in my room where out of reach starting about 2 meters over ground. Could not rally open them and could not look out.

Well located and stylish hotel in the centre of Alkmaar
Pros:

We loved the style of the building and the way it had been carefully restored. The room was spacious in a simple style. The breakfast selection was good and we appreciated being able to help ourselves to tea and coffee later in the day. The location could hardly have been better for the city centre, restaurants, theatre etc. and a few minutes walk from the station but it was also quiet. The staff were friendly and very efficient. We were especially grateful for the secure bike storage arrangements.

Perfecte locatie met parkeergelegenheid. Oud schoolgebouw is super leuke ambiance. Prima ontbijt.

Cons:

Wij hadden de junior suite geboekt. Ruimte is geweldig er zat alleen geen druk op de douche kop waardoor lange haren wassen eindeloos duurde. Erg jammer van een verder heerlijk verblijf.

Superfijn hotel!
Pros:

Heb genoten! Erg vriendelijk ontvangst door Ezra , mooie en ruime, lichte kamer. Alles was super schoon en het ontbijt ook dikke prima. Locatie top- je loopt zo het centrum in.
Dikke plus natuurlijk dat mijn hond ook welkom was. Ik ga zeker nog een xtje terug!

Cons:

Douche wordt niet super warm maar voor in de zomer warm genoeg. Kraan van wastafel daarentegen wel mega heet. Maargoed, minor detail. Ik vond het een erg fijn hotel!!
