Charming older hotel in great location. Good value for money.

Room needed an update

Really friendly welcome

Cons:

The room was in dire need of a deep clean, dust and renovation, the ceiling had a massive crack with water stains , you could see the layer of dust in headboard.

Absolutely great all-rounder
Pros:

I like the price to stay there. The staff were really nice and friendly. Everywhere seemed nice and well kept and maintained. Definitely good value for money. 10 mins Walking distance to the range of cafe and restaurants along the clifftops with amazing views also the theatre.

Cons:

Only a couple things really. Parking is limited around surrounding streets.
I found the pillows were fairly hard so didn't sleep to great but that's just personal preference really.

Pros:

Fantastic location close to a great beach with free on street parking in front of the hotel. Rooms were very spacious.

Cons:

It's a bit dated and tired looking but hey! what do you expect for twice the cost of pitching your own tent in a windy field somewhere.

Cheap and cheerful - just the job!
Pros:

The location for the football is perfect, as only a short walk to Torquay FC, and for the price I really couldn't complain. Will definitely stay again.

Cons:

The room is a bit tired but nothing to worry about. Would have liked a second pillow, and the shower gel dispenser was empty, however, given the value I didn't really let these things bother me.

Good Value Accomodation
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming
The location was good, and our bathroom had a bath not just a shower.
Quiet during the night.
We would stay again as it’s such good value for money. You get what you pay for but could have been a little cleaner

Cons:

There was a missing battery for the remote control and the room and bathroom really needed a deep clean lots of dust, but the beds were clean just a little uncomfortable.
Also the picture in the room had a disturbing vibe to it.
