The nature around, old history building, very helpful and frendly stuff.
Unfortunately, the expectations based on the description and video on the hotel website and on booking.com were not met : It turned out that both the pool and the gym (The gym is located in a sports center where many other activities take place, including competitions) are in another hotel, so you have to get there yourself, it's about three minutes by car, but walking in the heat isn't the most comfortable route, especially for the elderly and in a hot weather.
A 5-star hotel doesn't offer transportation to the pool nor gym, sauna, or anything else, unlike many other hotels of the same standard. You also have to travel to golf lessons yourself, and the instructor doesn't even meet you at the hotel for the first time. Breakfast was fine, but there weren't enough vegetables. If you're a vegetarian, you've got a problem. Overall, the hotel is nice, but not five-star. And...it would be a good idea to correct the information about the pool and gym, stating that they're located outside the hotel grounds and that you can play there yourself.
And I've never stated in the hotel where chef's compliments are being charged, sorry
Fantastic experience and a 5 star treatment. Pet friendly, indoors and outdoors. Safe parking. Phenomenal dining. Exceptionally beautiful nature. Quiet. It was one of the best stays in a while.

Cadre et environnement magnifique
Beaucoup de petites choses qui font que ce n’est pas du tout au niveau d’un relais et château, notamment la climatisation ultra bruyante, choix au petit déjeuner un peu juste sans parler du restaurant qui n’est vraiment pas au niveau. Dans un commentaire une personne parle de vélo, je n’en ai pas vu .

La piscine n’est pas sur place mais facile à accéder à pied
Allein die Zufahrt und Ankunft sind einzigartig. Man steht vor altehrwürdigen Mauern, wird freundlich und zuvorkommend begrüßt, das Gepäck wird auf das Zimmer gebracht und dann wird man auf das Zimmer geleitet, das Gott sei Dank eine Klimaanlage hat. Der Blick in die Umgebung vom Zimmer aus ist anregend. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, die Zeit zu verbringen: Wanderungen, Rad fahren, Thermenbesuch, Golf und/oder einfach am Fluss sitzen und den vielen Schwänen zuschauen.
Die Küche ist hervorragend und extravagant, der Service professionell, unaufdringlich und aufmerksam.
Das Frühstück ein Genuss, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.
Der Einstieg in die Badewanne/Dusche ist sehr hoch. Für mich derzeit noch kein Problem. Für Menschen mit Mobilitätseinschränkung kaum schaffbar, diese Hürde zu überwinden.

Prestation décevante pour un relais château, qualité de service inégale, chambre très bruyante (climatisation + bruit récurrent de moteur malgré son arrêt - des bouchons d’oreilles sont posés sur les tables de chevet , cela se justifie !) restauration décevante.
Everything is perfect
We loved staying in the beautiful castle! It is so well preserved and made me feel special. It was a shame that the weather was rainy and cold, as it would have been wonderful to enjoy the outside areas as well.
