We couldn’t have wished for a better stay
Pros:

The owner made my wife and I very welcome the room was very comfortable all that we needed for our stay. Breakfast was excellent and the host made our stay a happy one. We will be back again in the near future. Many thanks Charles and Lynne.

Beautiful people and property
Pros:

Jill (apologies if I spelt that wrong) and Ashley were wonderful hosts, making my son and I feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable and clean with lovely decor and we look forward to returning for our next Devon/Cornwall holiday.

A clean and tidy no frills town pub ideal for a short work based stay
Pros:

Despite the late starting time breakfast was ordered beforehand and was promptly served which enabled me to get away promptly.

Cons:

The bathroom was not ensuite which was a little inconvenient

Gill the owner was amaszing such a lovley lady.the best breakfast cooked to perfection. The room Gill thought of everything. Defff be back .next time stay it will be to see Gill as A friend as well as a Booking.

Great service, comfortable stay 👌
Pros:

We had a lovely overnight stay in this charming old building. The owners were friendly, considerate, and very accommodating throughout our visit.
Although the room was bijou, it was clean, bright, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The full English breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared, and they kindly accommodated vegetarian requirements without any issue.
A warm and welcoming place to stay — we would happily return.

Pros:

Location and parking convenient. Breakfast sufficient, but not outstanding.

Having to enter via the Public Bar and eat breakfast in the bar.

Pros:

Lovely place, very comfortable and they've made such a big effort to make the rooms 'homely'.

Cons:

Unfortunately no food was available in the evening, as they had a darts match on. Shame as I know the food is really good.
