Nice and clean but all a bit tired and in need of modernisation
Pros:

Lovely grounds and close to the nature reserve and steam railway for walks etc. Ok sized room and comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Was all just a bit tired and definitely not 4 star as advertised. Room was warm and no air conditioning so had to keep window open which was noisy from a wedding party. Quite a confusing layout lots of long thin corridors. Gym was some treadmills in a corridor and pool was small and tired. The pub next door was awful for evening meal.

Pros:

Great location near a nature reserve. We did a lovely long walk and you could run into the woods direct from the hotel. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly

Cons:

My friend arrived before me and was charged for the room but this money had already been taken via booking.com. It will take 5 days to return the money which I don't think is good enough really. The hotel was a little tired and in need of some tlc but it was good for what we needed.

Pros:

Nice comfortable hotel. The staff are fantastic.

Cons:

The food is decidedly average. It does not deserve the prices charged. Breakfast is good, especially the baked loaves of bread.
