Nice grounds, good food
Wedding on so noise in evening til late
Room too many moths. Breakfast. Good Dinner good service good
Decoration a bit tired shame
The building is spectacular. The grounds are fantastic. The facilities are spot-on. What’s not to like
Had to leave
Gorgeous room.
WiFi not the best.
The former grandeur, history and architecture.
Unfortunately the Hotel like many was not equipped for the extreme temperatures.
Understandably due to the age of the Hall there was no lift which made carrying suitcases to the second floor in 30+ degrees challenging but to be fair the Hotel team did offer us help.
The beautiful restaurant served disappointing food, this wasn’t just our opinion but that of other guests also.
Finally the Ramblers Inn could not offer any drinks on tap as the heat had affected their pumps.
No shade in the garden or the outside garden which really should be addressed.
The staff and location were both great. The setting of the hotel was also lovely.
Room was quite dated, this may have been because we had a dog.
The building and grounds had been beautiful once .
The rooms were a bit shabby and not very clean. Many areas of the hotel looked tired and in need of repair and refurbishing.
Very nice picturesque
The window seals in the room were very dusty with dead flys
Good relaxing pool and spa, SUCH a welcome relief in heat wave.
Generous room size, good bathroom, great staff.
Annoyingly noisy doors everywhere all night ! No air con. Ordinary pub supper.
