Classic and comfy
Pros:

The staff was very nice and attentive.
The bed was comfortable and the room aesthetically appealing.
The water pressure and temperature of the shower were perfect.
The location was very close to a FlixBus stop, which made it extra convenient for our journey.
There were good breakfast options and the food was delicious.

Cons:

We were across from a tapas place that seemed to be very lively until closing, so there was a bit of street noise.
It's an older building, which offers great classic aesthetics, but has its own quirks.
Nothing super negative for our short stay, just little things like difficult to turn faucets and a deep, narrow tub.

Ideal stop over for local access at a reasonable price. Would recommend and use again.
Pros:

Rooms were clean, bath with overhead shower, towels supplied. 2 flights up, but a lift available for not so mobile customers. Bar and restaurant were reasonably priced. Breakfast was buffet style at a fixed price. Hotel was close to city centre with lots of pubs and eateries within walking distance. Staff were helpful.
Old style hotel with high ceilings and stylish carved wood staircase.

Cons:

Radiator in bedroom was a bit small for the size of room, took a wee bit of figuring out for adjusting but was ok, took the chill off. Duvet was warm enough though.

A Gem in a great location
Pros:

A great comfy warm hotel with nice rooms great staff 👍

Cons:

A gem of hotel stayed here alot a favourite of mine love it. Everything and everyone is excellent, and good food especially the cooked to order breakfast. Sadly it is a buffet breakfast on a Saturday and Sunday oh dear not good im afraid terrible breakfast overcooked and cold.

Excellent location, affordable, sheltered place. Unspectacular but with its advantages.
Pros:

Location, the cleanliness of the room, radiators were excellent and the full breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Bathroom walls in a state of disrepair. Generally quite dated, bordering on neglected hotels. There is so much potential for this hotel to really shine and thrive.
Offering or hosting live sports or events opening up to the public could really bring business and trade into this otherwise well positioned hotel and bar.

Good central location for a night out in the city.
Pros:

Hotel situated in a good central location. Free parking at hotel welcomed. Quick check-in. Buffet breakfast included in price. Tea/coffee facilities in room. Hot shower.

Cons:

Hotel could do with a bit of T and C- tired in places. very creaky floorboards in corridors. Breakfast choice was good although items had been under the hot lamp for a period as bacon and hash browns were very hard.

Pros:

Good central location. Nice rooms great breakfast nice staff good Cindy bed.

Cons:

Not much really. Squeaky floors in room and gap at bottom of the door but it is an old building.

No sleep due to pub with outdoor music and noise until 3am on Friday and 1 am Saturday. Impossible to sleep

Good hotel but needs updates
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel was near restaurants and very accessible, with good parking.

Cons:

The card for the door kept losing the reader and required to have it reset. The room was never cleaned and coffee and sugar were not replenished. Even though I left the sign on the door to have the room made.
