Für eine Nacht war der Aufenthalt insgesamt in Ordnung. Besonders positiv waren die sehr gute Lage, das kostenlose Parkf

Das Hotel punktet vor allem mit seiner hervorragenden Lage und dem kostenlosen Parkplatz. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig geschnitten und das Haus hat einen besonderen historischen Charme – unter anderem soll bereits Winston Churchill dort im 19. Jahrhundert häufig zu Gast gewesen sein.

Cons:

Allerdings ist das Hotel insgesamt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. Unsere Zimmertür schloss nicht vollständig bis zum Boden, wodurch Geräusche vom Flur und von den Nachbarzimmern gut hörbar waren. Besonders nachts wirkte das etwas unangenehm. Insgesamt dennoch ein Aufenthalt mit viel Potenzial, vor allem wegen der Lage und der Geschichte des Hauses.

Clean and comfortable but tired
Pros:

Comfortable bed and clean room. Free parking, good location for city centre.
Amazing main staircase

Cons:

Scaffolding tower outside the room with noisy workmen on at 8:30am -we were on 2nd floor.
Not all of the breakfast items were available and the restaurant was closed in the evenings which we were not expecting.

Great overall and value for money!
Pros:

Friendly staff. Value for money, central, clean and warm. Parking great. Plenty of clean towels and condiments.

No complaints. There wasn't anything that seemed to be of dislike.
