Night porter soooo nice.
Pros:

Night porter was very kind.

Cons:

Carpet was like the carpet in Wetherspoons ( Dated). No plug sockets by the bed. Iron was broken and leaked on my shirt.

A lovely, restful stay.
Pros:

We stay here often and have had a variety of rooms, all of which have been clean and well presented. The staff are lovely and helpful. The property has character and history, and is in a central location.

Best staff ever.
Pros:

The staff were absolutely exceptional. Every single staff member we met were kind, smiley, helpful. They all seemed like genuinely great people.

Cons:

Hotel room was spotless & spacious. The only downside was that our room was above the pup next door/ onto the main street. Although the views were lovely, it was quite noisy at night when I was trying to get my son (7) to sleep.

It's position, free car park and quick checkin. Room a good size with most facilities.

Cons:

The place was all very tired. It was a top hotel 100 years ago and looked it. Sunday breakfast just about ok

Pros:

Easy to reach, onsite parking a bonus, great location for the city centre. The ensuite room was comfortable with a very good walk in shower. Just a pity the bar area was not always available even for someplace to sit and chill.

Cons:

Bar opening times need to be displayed or if not always available a seperate lounge area where you can sit and chill would be nice.
