Based on two adults sharing, children stay free if staying in parents' room on a room only basis. Breakfast will be charged as taken. Full cancellation charge will be made for any booking canceled within 48 hours prior to arrival.
Please note that a major refurbishment and expansion works are in progress. The expansion includes a new 100 seat Restaurant and Bar Area, relocation of the Reception and Lounge Area and an additional 14 bedrooms at the Hotel. While the refurbishment project does not affect any of current facilities within the Priory Hotel there may be some slight disruption of traffic movement and workers throughout the daytime only.

Very nice location and nice room
Only tv had no reception think aerial was broken
Good location for us.
Bathroom needed upgrade as shower would not turn off. Dripping water heard all night. Noisy neighbours and dogs barking .
I thought it was Halloween with all the cobwebs every where the reception the room and not really designed for wheelchairs
Ganska tyst hotel med enkel men fin trädgård och trevlig personal.
Vi bodde tre nätter på hotellet och fick rum 57 i annexet. Rummet var rymligt, men ganska daterat, inte minst vad gäller badrummet som sett sina bästa dagar. Rost på badkar, hjälpligt lagat kakel och bubblig plastmatta på golvet. Dock sköna sängar och välstädat. Frukosten är den vanliga engelska standardfrukosten, dvs flottiga korvar, bacon och ägg samt vitt eller brunt rostat bröd med möjlighet till marmelad och smör. Fanns även jos, kaffe och några olika sorter yoghurt. Frukosten äts i matsalen i huvudbyggnaden.

Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas à l’étage. Dommage que le café du petit déjeuner n’était pas fait avec du café en grain (c’était plutôt un type de Nescafé ) - ce serait une amélioration considérable !

We came for a unplanned Carvery on Sunday. All staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Food was absolutely delicious. All fresh. Choice of Pork, gammon and turkey. A brilliant range of vegetables and the best roast potatoes. Gravy had so much flavour. Everything was lovely and hot. Can't wait to go back again. Great service all round.
The room was dated and not very well maintained. The carpets to the rooms and the stairs carpets are well worn and in need of a good clean, the breakfast was average. The location was fine, and a 20min walk or 5 min taxi ride to town. The staff were great but I think next time I would pay more and stay elsewhere.
The hotel is old and in need of an upgrade, the rooms are worn and not the cleanest. The selection of beer is limited and not great. I just feel the place has been neglected over the years and could do with some urgent TLC.
Went with friends. Twin rooms available, rooms off a courtyard we could sit all together outside our rooms enjoying the light evening.
Quite rooms comfortable beds had the best night sleep.
