The lady on the reception desk who greeted me was so friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately the chap who was in the breakfast area was not friendly or particularly helpful.
Booked a superior suite and it was huge. Clean comfortable. Staff friendly. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order. Booked first evening meal which was good home cooked food. Could not fault this hotel
Cleaners didn't come in for our second day of stay. We saw them and they gave us fresh towels in the morning but no extra shower gel (one tiny bottle) for two people to last 2 nights. Not good enough.

Friendly and helpful staff. Location was nice. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.
Room was a bit basic for the price. There was a reception on downstairs which was quite noisy until late. Cooked breakfast buffet was disapponting with low quality ingredients, though the fresh fruit was good.
Beautiful location
The room was very characterful, comfortable and spacious. And the staff very friendly.
The latest time for ordering food was 8.30, which seems quite early, especially for a location catering for people travelling.

Great evening meal was very hot and well presented
Breakfast service was excellent and staff so attentive to our needs good selection offered. The cold section had lots to offer with toast, fruit, yogurts, cereals etc.
The only thing in the room is the bathroom upstairs and so in the evening for safety the stairs lights needed to be kept on.
This would not stop me staying in the same suite again.
The lovely lady in reception who was there for check in and checking out was such a lovely friendly person. We felt like we were having a chat with a friend. She explained everything helped us with freezing an ice pack as I have arthritis. So so lovely greeting and wishing us well on our journey. An absolute credit to your hotel, thank you
