It wa a island
It was fresh blood
On my bed and power went out also half of the island things to do was not working
Horrible experience. Went for the pool and it was closed. The gift shop was closed. Room was ehh. We went for the “resort” and the resort wasn’t open. Bad time
Room, the pool being open, staff wasn’t friendly.
Location, and security
If I stayed longer I’m sure I could have enjoyed it.
I didn’t stay longer enough to have a bad thought.
Let me start by saying this Inn was very clean and smelled amazing! It's has a nice pool area,2 pools, a jacuzzi and a swim up bar. You can rent a spacious cabana poolside. The staff is dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible. You can rent a golf cart at the front desk. And its conveniently located in a central area..I'll definitely go again and I highly recommend it!
the staff was nice.
my room ended up being in the middle of the buildings construction project.
The lazy river wasn't up and running.
The wifi didnt work in my room.
The hot tub wasn't even warm.
Location, friendly staff, clean rooms and the hot tub!
It was a little costly but… it was also a last min booking.
Close to the main drag. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities. Well secured.
My room was in the back building. It was not connected to the main structure and there was construction going on, so had to walk around the property to get to the front or pool area.
Our stay was great except for the running in the halls and yelling in the middle of the night!
Quiet time was non existent!
Nothing
Overall experience.
It was under construction nobody makes you aware of that before you book still charge the same price as they normally do. I would make sure you call before you stay at this place.
They were doing construction at 7:30 in the morning, making a bunch of noise outside of our room cutting with chopsaws it was ridiculous and very upsetting did let them know didn’t seem to care too much
We stayed at Islander Inn for a bachelorette trip specifically because of the advertised pool and swim-up bar amenities. Before arriving, I called the day before check-in because it was early in the season and temperatures were only around 70 degrees. I was told the pool would not be open due to the weather.
However, when we arrived, it became clear that the issue was not weather at all — the entire pool and swim-up bar area was under heavy construction and essentially torn apart. We paid full price for a hotel that heavily advertises these amenities, yet they were completely unavailable during our stay. This should have been clearly disclosed before booking or at minimum before arrival.
To make matters more frustrating, other nearby hotels had their pools open, including the hotel directly next to us, so the explanation we were given felt misleading.
The rooms themselves were clean, and the hotel overall was decent aside from this issue. However, we were also charged overnight parking fees, which felt excessive considering visitors already have to pay to park virtually everywhere on the island.
Overall, the lack of transparency about the construction and unavailable amenities was very disappointing, especially for a trip planned around the pool atmosphere.
It was clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful
The bed was very uncomfortable and the pool area was not ready and along with the insurance on the back side of the construction was not lit up hardly at all after hours.
