Reservation was under in wrong name
The breakfast was good, and the room was nice and clean (and spacious!). We liked that the location was central to other locations, and the view was beautiful.
We used the pool in the morning and it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned up from the previous night - there were used towels and a little garbage around and no clean towels to use. The flow of the breakfast area wasn’t great - it got really congested in some areas.
Been there to host a family reunion in 2019 so familiar with the hotel. Beautiful historic building. Comfy room with nice bed. The bar is nice and cozy. Parking is valet and not cheap but neither is anything else.
Not a thing
The size of the room for the price was good. The location of the hotel is nice, you are in the heart of downtown. Valet services were working very hard. Complimentary drink hour was fun!
Staff was unbeliveably rude. Room didnt have airconditioning and staff was rude about having to fix that. Only 2 valet workers causes slow time to get car. Wedding in hotel blocked the lobby for an hour and required other guests to stand outside and wait.
Breakfast was great...gal making omelets was rockin!
Black lady at checking and Black man at front desk later in evening were quiet rude
Die Lage
Die Klimaanlage konnte man nicht steuern. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Morgens beim Buffet war es sehr voll unscharf wurden keine Tische frei geräumt und sauber gemacht.
In accurate booking pictures and description of trip said it two bedroom suite and it was only one bedroom and a pullout couch. They would not do anything to compensate us. They also knew it was misleading and refused to change anything about it. Neither phones work in our room we can’t call for any type of service if we had to. I couldn’t even call the front desk. The pictures on the wall for decorations still have the price tag on them very sloppy.
Buyer beware 2 bedroom suites are not actually 2 bedrooms. It’s 1 bedroom and 1 living room. Completely misleading. Spoke to the front desk. They are aware that that is how it’s marketed.
Lobby was nice
Front desk didn’t explain anything - I had to talk to the valet guy down stairs to find my room.
Didn’t know when and where breakfast was. Didn’t know the price of valet since that was my only option at 11pm at night but still charged my card without stating the prices
Booked my room on line - $100 more was charged with no explanation
Views and location
Pool was closed! No one informed us! Got to room after 4 and had trash and dirty blankets blocking our door!
While the building is beautiful and historic, the check-in desk being on the top floor is inconvenient in my opinion. I think it was perfect place for the breakfast, bar, and restaurant but having to go up to just go back down to your room with all your bags is very convenient.
The rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfy, the city views we got were amazing. The staff is courteous and attentive.
However all Hiltons are Dog friendly but this venue has nearly NOWHERE within 2 blocks that is SAFE for you to take your dogs to relieve themselves. The green space across the street has not a single inch of grass, just bushes & trees in raised planters...and the entire area is filled with homeless people so there are drug needles amongst the bushes so not safe for your pets at all. Also if you are traveling alone with your dog this will make you feel unsafe.
It made the entire trip stressful on where we had to walk much further away to find a safe space for the dogs just to relieve. I recommend Hilton remove the DOG FRIENDLY from this hotel because it is NOT at all Dog friendly venue and is false advertising.

Found wet towel jammed in the couch when we arrived, the dining room was very dirty and aged, not enough staff to clean tables, we had to eat at a dirty table with at least 15 open tables not yet cleaned
