Friendly, comfortable stay.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly. Evening meal was excellent. Choice at breakfast was very good.

Cons:

Had run out of our first choice of wine and beers.
Furniture in the bar a little 'sad' in need of an update.

Cons:

Rain coming into bar through roof, especially after overheating a staff member say it had happened before. Got food order for my wife wrong, and instead of re-cooking it, they gave a new plate with the tomato etc scraped off the bottom of the chicken. Wood panelling next to our table had significant dust and debris, even a straw stuck down it.

Cons:

The room we had had cob webs, there was about 3 spiders, a tiny fly in bathroom and small beetle. Me and my partner even got bit twice during the night, as when we woke up we noticed bites on our legs

Shame on Best Western
Pros:

Weston Hall is a beautiful 16th century Manor house with lots of history. Most of the staff were cheery and upbeat.

Cons:

Unfortunately the rooms are in need of refurbishment. In my first room, the wallpapers were peeling from the ceiling and walls. However, the bed was extremely comfortable! I was moved to a beautiful room with 4 poster bed and sofa. But the bed was most uncomfortable, and I slept on top of the quilt for some 'padding'. I was told they were in the process of spending money on the hotel. I do hope so, because the staff are lovely, and the surroundings are beautiful.

Good overnight stop.
Pros:

Lovely breakfast and enjoyed a good dinner. Grounds were lovely for after dinner drink and the servicewas excellent
