Room was good size. Bed huge . Clean
Room very warm. Dated lots of scuff marks on walls.
Leisure centre ( pool) couldn't get Jacuzzi to work. Didn't know I needed a £ for locker .
Good value for money, nice location, helpful staff, wide variety at breakfast 🙂
Five steps or steep outside, car-park slope to get to and from an “accessible” room with a disabled bathroom was far from ideal. Second room bathroom was overly snug.
An old hotel, but we loved that. Clean and comfortable room. Nice bar, with reasonable prices, and food was delicious. Super friendly and professional staff. Pool and spa area was good. Gym had a good range of equipment. Golf course was ok, but players were very slow.
Spa changing room and showers are very basic, but it's an old hotel, I'm sure there's not much that could be changed.
Room was very good. All food was of a high quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent.
It was all very good which led to a relaxing few days.
Staff excellent and friendly. Good range of dishes on the menu and an excellent breakfast.
Having had a long drive we wanted some exercise and fresh air. We wanted to walk beside the golf course but not allowed. We did not bring any other sports gear so could not use the swimming pool etc
Staff were warm and friendly. Bed was comfortable. Peaceful environment.
For a (UK) 4 star rated hotel it felt tired, dated, and not really fitting the experience expected of a 4 star hotel. Room had a 70s/80s feel about it. Shower over bath ( with shower head not high enough for a 6ft person), kettle plus instant coffee, no power sockets near the bedside tables, no usb. I went to breakfast only 15 minutes after it opened and already many of the cooked items were warm rather than hot.
Having the use of the Leisure Centre was delightful following a short but hot drive over from a weekend outdoors. The room was large, as was the en-suite bathroom. The loan of a mobile phone charger from reception was much appreciated. Good to have the land around the golf course adjacent for an early morning walk too.
Having to seek out the tea/coffee making tray from under the desk was slightly odd, only a niggle rather than a dislike though.
Lovely location
Poor WiFi
Nice hotel and facilities.with restaurant attached. Spacious room and comfy bed. Friendly staff and great spa facilities
The rooms were clean but a little dated
