Breakfast was excellent and the staff were welcoming and didn't rush us.
The place was a bit tired. The gardens could be better as they had an excellent view of the Bristol Channel.

Friendly staff
This is a lovely if dated hotel. The staff were brilliant and the hotel clean and welcoming. We had a sea view room which did indeed have a great view across the channel to Newport.
The room was large and the bed comfy. That having been said the room was very dated with some tired chairs and a bathroom that was desperately in need of an update.
We had breakfast which was very good and we were lucky enough to get a table near the window to enjoy the views.
I took up our disappointment over the room with the hotel. They were very supportive which I appreciated
As mentioned above the room was disappointingly dated which took the shine off what would otherwise have been a lovely stay. The photos on the website did not accurately reflect our room.
That having been said I would still recommend the hotel but suggest you check about the room to make sure it's what you expect

Shower cubicle facing wrong way and small. Shower Door opens into door to bathroom - very poorly thought out. Larger people would struggle !!
