Great onsen
Pros:

Our favorite thing at the hotel was the communal onsen spa, with mineral hot spring bath, sauna, and cold pool. The rooms are large and we had a view of Fuji. You can also see Fuji from the men’s onsen and the observation deck. Free shuttle took us to and from station. Blackout shutters on the windows.

Cons:

Room smelled a little musty, like maybe it used to be a smoking room. Some reviews say the restaurant has a good dinner but when we tried to have dinner there the guy at the desk said they don’t serve dinner and referred us to a nearby bakery/restaurant. Bed mattresses less comfortable than at other hotels we stayed at in Japan but we slept pretty well.

La atención y la experiencia excepcional.
Pros:

El Onsen es espectacular, tiene unas vistas impresionantes al lago. Las instalaciones son de los años 50 pero muy lujosas. El futón y toda la experiencia completa ha sido muy positiva. Habíamos reservado una habitación con baños compartidos y nos dieron una habitación con baño en la habitación por cortesía.

Cons:

El olor de la habitación, quizás es porque antes estaría permitido fumar. Las instalaciones antiguas.

ロケーションよく、ご飯豪華！
Pros:

口コミにある様に朝食が大満足でした。
インバウンドの方が、ほうとうが苦手のようで豚しゃぶに変更になったそうですが、更に豪華になった気がします。
次から次へと運んで来て頂き、お腹いっぱいでした。

Cons:

自販機があれば良かったです。
あったのかもしれませんが。

Great experience of a Japanese style hotel
Pros:

Beautiful property. Covenient location, close to many restaurants and convenience stores. Ample parking space.
The hotel overlooks the lake and has scenic views of it. They have a deck to see Mount Fuji. But if it is cloudy, the mountain would not be visible from anywhere in the town.
They serve a lavish Japanese breakfast which you have to reserve in advance. It’s worth the price, experience and taste.
The staff is considerate and hospitable.

Pros:

The cottage was spacious and worked well for us as a group of six. The location was convenient, and having a separate cottage gave us plenty of space. We also appreciated the traditional Japanese atmosphere, which was charming and gave the stay a more authentic feel.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the overall experience was much worse than we expected. The biggest problem was the extremely strong smell throughout the cottage. There was a very strong chemical/mothball-like smell, combined with an intense musty and stale odor. Even the bed linen had a noticeable chemical and musty smell, despite appearing clean and white.

The cottage also did not feel properly cleaned. The carpets were visibly dirty and stained, and there were several areas of discoloration on the walls and around the floors and corners. Overall, the cottage felt poorly maintained and insufficiently ventilated.

We were travelling with two young children and arrived very late, so we decided to stay for the one night we had booked. Had we arrived earlier and had a realistic opportunity to find alternative accommodation, we would not have stayed and would have immediately asked for another room.
