Pros:

Great location, great staff, brilliant breakfast, charming old building, public bath has awesome views of Fuji.

Pros:

Beautifully located hotel, dripping with character and charm. Morning breakfast was incredible!

Cons:

Great View!. Hot springs were awesome. The hotel is beautiful and rich with history and culture. Exceeded out exceptions and was all you could want and more from a Traditional Japanese Hotel with old world charm.

The best!
Pros:

The front desk staff was wonderful! This hotel feels like being transported back in time in the best way. Wonderful location and amenities - the onsen is heavenly!

Cons:

It’s an older hotel so the rooms aren’t the most polished, but this didn’t bother us - we had a wonderful stay!

Very happy with my traditional Ryoken stay.
Pros:

Incredible staff, very friendly and helpful. Properly is old and a bit rough around the edges, but this only adds to the charm of a traditional Ryokan. Very clean. I loved the onsite onsen which was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Overall, very happy with my stay.
