Atmosphere hides a harsh truth
Pros:

The location and the first impression of the old style. The traditional Breakfast was great.

Cons:

The were told that our youngest of 4 was to young for the (traditional) breakfast they provide. She only got a yoghurt and we had to share our meals. That is normally not a big deal, but the breakfast is really measured for one person (and not a big eater) At least they could have provided an extra egg, vegetables, fruit or something. Without us explicitly asking for it everyday.

We had the traditional tatami rooms and if you stay with 4 persons one will by laying right in front of the airconditioning unit on the floor, that was full of dust (we asked to have it cleaned and they did, but it should have been clean in the first place) So we had to turn it of, but in summer with hot temperatures at night thats not do able. So we al slided to one side resulting in laying in the "gap" between futons.

Also there was more dust on planks en other spaces. The hotel could use some fresh paint in certain areas. But that didnt bother us that much.

The personnel in the restaurant really was friendly and helpful. On the last day after two days of great traditional breakfast. We were surprised that we got a carton box with some bread. And the the options besides it was way to little.

立地（河口湖が目の前）、送迎バス

Cons:

ホテル側には特にないが、外国人の大浴場利用はもう少し説明があった方がいいと思います。

女性側でスリッパをロッカーに入れて、鍵はロッカーの上に置き、浴衣は浴室内入ってすぐのプラスチック椅子に置いて…とハチャメチャな使い方でした。
白人女性2人にアジア系の女性が説明している様子だったので、敢えて声かけもしませんでしたが気の毒に感じました。

Maravilhoso hotel em frente ao lago kawaguchiko
Pros:

Localização, tamanho do quarto, gentileza dos funcionários, amenidades disponíveis. Bela vista para Monte Fuji e Lago Kawaguchiko.

Cons:

Hotel antigo e precisa algumas renovações.

Vue sur le mont Fuji

Cons:

L'état de la chambre, vieillot, le wifi très mauvais. C'était cher payé pour ce que c'était. J'ai été déçue. D'autant plus que j'aurais payé moins cher si j'avais pris ma chambre à la dernière minute. Pas de repas, pas de petit déjeuner, pas de vélo à disposition ..... mais plutôt bien situé.

Traditional Japanese experience
Pros:

The hotel is a beautiful example of grand traditional japanese style and service.   Interior areas could use a light refresh, but very clean.   A great location with lake views, 900 m to the rail/bus station, 500m to the Ropeway and restaurants.  Room was a family tatami, huge for us 4, very clean, needing a light refresh with an older garden view and Fuji if you open the window and lean out.  Service is very good.  On-site pool tamlble and table soccer.
All breakfast options are excellent with plenty to eat.  The Onsen is amazing, lucky to see Fuji when we were there! 

Cons:

Light refresh of interior areas and room. I dont expect an 8.5 rated hotel to need refreshing.

C’était bien!
Pros:

Le personnel était au petits soins, la grandeur des chambres, le onsen, la petite cuisine (micro-onde et glace), le shuttle pour la gare, la salle de bain dans les chambres
