Good Value 5 Star in Good Location, everything I needed (again), though currently doing renovations.
Pros:

Great Location. Cheaper than the other 5 stars in the area. 24/7 room service. Alcohol shop on site. Friendly staff. Reasonable Gym which I used 4 times on my stay. Pool (not used personally but looks clean).

As a TG Woman I was l mostly gendered correctly, treated respectfully and felt safe.

Rooms were clean and tidy , daily cleaning was good. Since my last visit they have moved from little tubes of products to big dispensers in the shower, which is much more convenient (and better for the planet). Some days the room service played little games and made animals out of the towels which I welcomed.

Cons:

There is building work going on on site (new front to the hotel) so we have to use a temporary entrance. It's OK. But I had to wait for my car each morning and in the lobby you could smell the building chemicals. Fortunately there was no smell in the rooms, and all the facilities i needed were working fine.

Since my last visit they have moved from having a folder in the room with the menu on it, to having a QR code and online ordering. This was great when in worked. I was roughly eating 2 meals per day from it (because my work hours meant restaurants were closed) for 1.5 weeks. on 2 occassions i placed my order , waited over an hour and nothing showed up until I called them to chase. Whereas when they had picked up my order I usually had it in 20-25 mins.

They replaced their software half way through my visit which meant checking out and in mid-way through my stay - that was irritating, but I've been coming here for a decade and not had that before and hopefully never again.

There was a tiny bit of mis-gendering, but this was resolved promptly when mentioned.

Cons:

It was my Father's birthday and as per the 5 star hotel standard, I requested for a complementary high tea or at least a cake to celebrate my father's birthday which was not entertained.

Stay was very comfortable & family enjoyed the services.
Pros:

Breakfast items needs to be more elaborate & classy. Variety of food needs to improve.

Cons:

Pool side was not very clean & we were asked to leave the pool just because it was lightly drizzling. Overall Stay was very comfortable & family enjoyed the services although the main entrance lobby was under maintenance due to which side entry was a bit of hassel.
