No basics such as hairdryer in room!
Pros:

Room was spacious and clean

Cons:

Due to the wooden desk and side cabinets, room smelt too much of polish or some other strange smell, couldn't quite figure out what it was. Also, for the money I paid, disappointed there was no hairdryer in room - I mean these are the basics!!

Pleasant Stay at Grand Sapphire
Pros:

Was within walking distance to the Imperial Banqueting venue where we went to an event. There were tea and coffee facilities at reception that was a nice touch and a complimentary breakfast. Overall we felt it was good for 1 nights stay. Lovely reception area to take photographs.

Cons:

Hired a deluxe room for 3 adults with double bed and sofa bed. Sofa bed is too hard to be considered for sleeping and our 3rd adult had an uncomfortable night. Only 2 waters in room for 3 and no long mirror or specific place to rest suitcases. We preferred the look of our room in comparison to the standard rooms although decor could probably be updated. Limited tea and coffee choices in room and no milk. We went down to breakfast 30 minutes before closure due to being out the night before and found that things had not been replenished and we had to ask if any breakfast items were going to be added. It would seem that you need to get to breakfast early!

Pros:

The location is very good. Was nice and clean.

Cons:

Our airconditioner was not working and had to cut my stay short. The stuff were friendly for the most part especially,the young man at the breakfast area.

Unhappy with the rooms
Pros:

The property has a terrible smell. The rooms are too old. They are not clean. The outside building and reception are nice and well decorated but the room are not looking good. The smell and unclean.

The bad smell and rooms are dirty. The toilet are not good looking either. They need to refurbished the rooms to a nice standard

It was very comfortable and had the luxury of a much more expensive hotel. The staff were extremely helpful with our luggage (a lot of it as we had just been on holiday)!

Cons:

A safe would have been useful for our passports and as it was hot weather a mini-fridge might have helped to chill the complementary bottles of water usefully provided. However, the air conditioning was easy to use and very much appreciated.
