Templation Hotel

Gorgeous stay at Templation. A friend had recommended it, she was right.
Rooms very sleek and beds comfotable. I would say the standard of accomodation here is very high. Breakfast very comprehensive and good. Actually all food is good here.
I had two fantastic treatments while here. I am a massage therapist myself, and teach, so I know what I am saying. Po was wonderful!
Grounds and pool a delight!

We stayed at Templation for four nights in a two bedroom pool villa as we were upgraded due to the closure of the main pool for repairs. There was some noise due to the work however not enough to spoil our holiday. The villas are very comfortable and the breakfasts are outstanding. We ate in the restaurant most evenings as it was easier due to early tours the next day. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This property is an oasis of peace and calm just outside Siem Reap. My husband and I stayed for three nights in a two bedroom we pool villa and it was perfect.

The room was clean and comfortable with all the expected amenities. The gardens of the property are beautiful and well looked after.

Staff here are so warm and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they work hard to ensure your trip is perfect.
The ladies running the spa are wonderful and all our treatments were very professional. The restaurant food was great and the servers were very hospitable. My husband is certain they serve the best eggs Benedict he has ever had anywhere in the world.

The location is great. A $3-5 tuk tuk ride to the city of Siem Reap and around 5k to Angkor Wat. We booked a tuk tuk driver for half a day and visited three temples at our leisure.

Thank you to the whole team running Templation for our first trip to Cambodia. We felt like family.

I had booked a jungloo but was upgraded to a garden room very close to the gorgeous pool.
The welcome included a fresh towel, drink and fruit.
The room was so comfortable and I showered often in the adjoining private outdoor bathroom for the fun of it.
Twice daily room servicing provides fresh towels, turning down the room and leaving a little basket with petit baked items.
The food served in the restaurant was so fresh, flavoursome and served with attention to detail.
All staff are courteous, discreet and helpful.
The hotel's layout and decor is tranquil. The gardens are peaceful and include a free ranging tortoise or two, guinea pigs and rabbits.

Beautiful villa stay, amazing price, lovely staff and very private. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature but close enough to the temples!

Me encantó todo, las instalaciones son muy agradables y te dejan tener contacto con la naturaleza. Tienes piscina privada aunque el Hotel tiene una piscina increible. El nivel profesional y actitud de servicio es top!.

Nous ne somme restés qu’une seule nuit mais à refaire avec plaisir ! La chambre avec piscine privative est top , pas mal de choses à dispo, le restaurant est très bon. Et un très bon point: le petit dej sur plateau flottant dans la chambre ^^

From the moment we arrived at reception, the warmth of the staff was unmistakable. Everything - from check in to welcome drinks, to the rooms to the breakfast exceeded our expectations. If you visiting Siem Reap, this hotel is outstanding. 5km away from Pub Street a 15 minute tuk tuk ride close enough for convenience yet far enough for peace and quiet.

The private pool is excellent, very clear and I can have a swim any time if I want.
and the breakfast is pretty good.

This is a very special place, I booked last minute as my friend had stayed there. I had made a bad mistake and booked another place with the same name as I had stayed in 15 years ago. Turned out it was not what I had been to before and was horrible. Luckily I could cancel partly and move to Templation.

There’s a LOT to like about this hotel and we would not hesitate to return. We stayed four nights in one of the “Jongloos” – basically high-end glamping. We were happy with how the air conditioning kept up with the temperature and humidity. What a fun experience, and so different from traditional rooms or suites in other hotels. (If we could take off half a star on the review, it would be because you need to get a tuk tuk to get into the center of the city.... But that wasn't a problem, since tuk tuks were readily available.)

The staff are wonderfully welcoming and excellent at remembering who you are. This includes not only the front lobby crew, but the restaurant, bar, and transport staff as well. (And their English is very good – a gazillion times better than our Khmer. That kinda’ goes without saying….)

The hotel property – well outside the center of Siem Reap and very close to the temples – is beautiful and well-maintained. The restaurant/lounge overlooks the pool, reinforcing a sense of tranquility. The restaurant and lounge were also top-notch, offering both western and Cambodian cuisine. We loved their fish and seafood amoks! And there were some great surprises with the drinks. If you love ginger, you’ve got to try the loomi loomi.

We booked two days of temple tours through the hotel. The guide met us at the hotel, and we used the hotel’s car (small van) and driver to visit a total of 9 temples – the Siem Reap grand circuit tour plus Bantaey Srei on the first day, and the small circuit tour, including sunrise at Angkor Wat, on the second. The guide was so knowledgeable about the history and symbolism/significance of each temple. His friendliness and enthusiasm added immensely to our appreciation of what we were seeing and experiencing. Whatever you do if you’re visiting, DO hire a guide. You’ll thank yourself later.

The hotel’s car included cooling cloths and cold water to refresh after each venture into the heat and humidity. So much appreciated!
