Beautiful villa stay, amazing price, lovely staff and very private. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature but close enough to the temples!
From the moment we arrived at reception, the warmth of the staff was unmistakable. Everything - from check in to welcome drinks, to the rooms to the breakfast exceeded our expectations. If you visiting Siem Reap, this hotel is outstanding. 5km away from Pub Street a 15 minute tuk tuk ride close enough for convenience yet far enough for peace and quiet.
The private pool is excellent, very clear and I can have a swim any time if I want.
and the breakfast is pretty good.
There doesn't seem to be a trash can in the room, or I'm not sure if that nice bamboo basket is meant to be one.
This is a very special place, I booked last minute as my friend had stayed there. I had made a bad mistake and booked another place with the same name as I had stayed in 15 years ago. Turned out it was not what I had been to before and was horrible. Luckily I could cancel partly and move to Templation.
I had a couple of very good Khmer Massages with Pov who was brilliant!! I am a therapist myself so know what I am
Talking about!
Very quiet, a little away from the centre but closer to Angkor temples, which was good.
Perfekte Lage - kurze Wege zum archäologischen Park. Privater Pool zum Relaxen während der heißen Mittagszeit.
Alles wunderbar!
There’s a LOT to like about this hotel and we would not hesitate to return. We stayed four nights in one of the “Jongloos” – basically high-end glamping. We were happy with how the air conditioning kept up with the temperature and humidity. What a fun experience, and so different from traditional rooms or suites in other hotels. (If we could take off half a star on the review, it would be because you need to get a tuk tuk to get into the center of the city.... But that wasn't a problem, since tuk tuks were readily available.)
The staff are wonderfully welcoming and excellent at remembering who you are. This includes not only the front lobby crew, but the restaurant, bar, and transport staff as well. (And their English is very good – a gazillion times better than our Khmer. That kinda’ goes without saying….)
The hotel property – well outside the center of Siem Reap and very close to the temples – is beautiful and well-maintained. The restaurant/lounge overlooks the pool, reinforcing a sense of tranquility. The restaurant and lounge were also top-notch, offering both western and Cambodian cuisine. We loved their fish and seafood amoks! And there were some great surprises with the drinks. If you love ginger, you’ve got to try the loomi loomi.
We booked two days of temple tours through the hotel. The guide met us at the hotel, and we used the hotel’s car (small van) and driver to visit a total of 9 temples – the Siem Reap grand circuit tour plus Bantaey Srei on the first day, and the small circuit tour, including sunrise at Angkor Wat, on the second. The guide was so knowledgeable about the history and symbolism/significance of each temple. His friendliness and enthusiasm added immensely to our appreciation of what we were seeing and experiencing. Whatever you do if you’re visiting, DO hire a guide. You’ll thank yourself later.
The hotel’s car included cooling cloths and cold water to refresh after each venture into the heat and humidity. So much appreciated!
This is one of the nicest hotels that we have ever experienced. Set just outside of the town on the road to Ankor Wat it is a perfect distance from the noise and bustle of the busy city although only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride away. We took a short walk to the botanical gardens from here very convenient and very beautiful. The hotel is an oasis of calm- our hotel room is a separate lodge with a good size room and a garden verandah looking out onto the most lovely tropical scene full of birds and we really enjoyed watching the red squirrels jumping around in the trees every morning from our patio. The bathroom is extraordinary- half inside half outside we showered under the stars it was amazing! Breakfast isn’t the usual boring buffet but an à la carte menu you can choose as much as you like and if you want room service it’s free too- we had many lunches brought to our room. Equally it’s a short walk to the beautiful pool area and bar/ dining room which over looks the pool and gardens . All the staff without exception including garden workers were really friendly and helpful and reception staff jump to their feet to greet you in and out of the hotel - asking where you have spent your day and look genuinely interested and pleased to hear about your travels! There is a small petting area with rabbits guinea pigs and a massive tortoise , a gym and a reading room too all air conditioned . Every day we spent hours around the pool cooling off and relaxing. I would recommend this as a perfect place to stay when visiting Siem Reap - perfectly placed for reaching the temples and town .
Parfait !
L’eau chaude a manquée le dernier matin
Our one bedroom villa with private pool was fantastic. Very quiet and peaceful, with great amenities, a very comfortable bed, good airco/roof fan and great outside bathroom. The staff were extemely helpful and friendly and the breakast was excellent. A tuc tuc from the hotel to the centre of Siem Reap is US$3 and the driver will wait to take you back to the hotel if you request it. We used the spa services in the hotel which were also excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel and sorry we didn't stay longer!
nothing
Staff were attentive, helpful and kind. Resort was extremely well maintained, clean and beautiful. Room was impressive, quiet and calm.
Children under 5 should not be permitted at resort. The toddler screaming and shouting on night of 19th March for a full hour broke the illusion of a calm oasis and was quite stressful, though this is no fault of the staff whom were exceptional.
Peaceful.
The food was excellent and the attention from the personnel was exceptional.
They should work on the flies and mosquitos. Maybe something in the room to avoid them.
Gorgeous place to stay. We wish we’ve stayed longer.
