Pros:

I really loved my stay at this hotel. The hotel was spacious, the room was very nice and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable.

What made the biggest impression on me was the person at the front desk. Because I arrived late, he actually called me to check where I was and make sure everything was okay. That small gesture made me feel very welcome — almost like I was arriving at a family home rather than just checking into a hotel.

I really appreciated the warm reception, the care, and the way they looked after me. The parking was also a big advantage, especially in Finland where finding convenient parking can sometimes be difficult.

Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and really liked the hotel. The combination of the room, the price, the parking, and especially the excellent hospitality made the experience memorable.

Huone on siisti ja tilava. Mukavaa on, että kylpylästä pääsee suoraan järveen. Ravintola on hyvä, samoin aamiainen.

Cons:

Kylpylä on hyvin vaatimaton. Siellä ei ole mahdollisuutta uida ja vesijuosta kunnolla. Vesijuoksuvöitä ei ole. Kulku kylpylään hissistä meni vain spa:n kautta, jossa sisäkengät kastuivat. Osa asiakkaista meni saunasta suoraan porealtaaseen, ilman suihkua! Pitäisi varmaan ohjeistaa asiakkaita paremmin.

Kiva kylpyläloma
Pros:

Oikein kiva kylpylä aikuiseen makuun. Hyvät saunat, poreallas ja pieni uima-allas. Huoneet ok, toki päivittämisen tarvetta hieman. Ravintolasta löytyi hyvät ruoat ja palvelu oli hyvää. Tullaan taas uudemmmankin kerran!

A lot to offer and a room with a view...
Pros:

The Kumpeli Spa is set in a beautiful location right next to a lake. To get there without a car is a bit of a scramble - it took a train from Helsinki to Lahti, then a bus to Heinola. Finally, about a .8 mile walk from the bus stop. It has many facilities for luxuriating. The breakfast was very good and dinner was also quite delicious (this is not included in the price). My room was on the first floor and had a door right out to the lake. The furniture and room used lots of wood and felt a little dated. The bathroom was good. Plenty of outlets and places to store clothes. There is a disc golf course right next door and a world class disc golf park (Kippis) about 2 miles away (taxi or bus).

Cons:

The room felt a little dark and dated, but with the curtains open and sunshine coming in, it felt quite comfortable.

Pros:

Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja hyvä.
Hotellin sijainti todella hyvä. Huoneestamme oli näkymä Kymen virtaan. Hotellissa ja kylpylässä oli mukavan rauhallista.
Oli kiva kun oli mahdollista käydä Kymin virrassa uimassa.

Cons:

Ihmettelimme kymmen aikaan illalla hotellilla olevaa ilotulitusta.
Wc-tiloissa olevat kosteusongelmat kaipaisivat remonttia.

Excellent spa hotel in a small town 30Km north of Lahti
Pros:

This is a spa hotel. The rooms could do with a bot of refurbishment and I understand this is under way. The spa was excellent, with three different sorts of sauna (of course - Finland), a steam room, a swimming pool, 2 jacuzzis, a plunge pool and a pebble beed foot massager. There is also a reasonably well-equipped small gym. Restaurant food was good. Bar closes a bit early at 22:30 sharp

Relax con vista lago a Heinola.
Pros:

Posizione panoramica sul lago. Bella la zona sauna con le jacuzzi con vista sul lago. Ampia zona ristorante con panorama.

Cons:

Struttura un po’ vetusta anche se con arredi di buona qualità. Camere e bagni un po’ piccoli e doccia non comoda.
