Great view and close to the Embarcadero area
Pros:

It was our first time at this hotel and we had a treat. The weather was clear and our room was facing the water and Midway ship. The guest service employees were helpful. The room was clean. It was a great hotel to relax and close to the water. We were able to walk and enjoy the place. The breakfast buffet was good and plenty of choices for the entire family.

Outdated Rooms
Pros:

Yes. The location is very nice, however, there are other options with similar locations. The room was so outdated! I mean to the point of being gross. The carpet was frayed and actually split in numerous places. I had to purchase febreeze to dull the stale smell. Just incredibly disappointed. We booked the room based on other reviews and thought it might give us a little more room. The prices definitely do not reflect the state of the hotel. Just wanted to give any potential travelers to the area a heads up. There are other very nice hotels in the area at similar rates I would recommend. I tried to leave a review directly with hotel, however, was not able to find that avenue. Will keep trying!

Wonderful Anniversary Getaway
Pros:

Sitting prime on America's Gold Coast of San Diego Ca. this wonderful Hotel offered us a terrific view of the Bay as we celebrated our Wedding Anniversary! World Class service with a smile & Fresh Quality Breakfast each morning served with "excellent" coffee to start our day of touring the City's Finest it has to offer travelers from around the World! With a bottle of Fine Red Wine & pleasantly made platter of charcuterie we enjoyed a cozy/relaxing warm afternoon on the terrace watching sea vessels/yachts traversing across the bay! We found that being right off the PCH put us close to the Embarcadero offering us casual strolls along the boardwalk to the infamous SeaPort Village filled with shops, museums, restaurants, & a delightful carousel for the kiddies! Truly a remarkable City to Visit & Tour!

Pros:

Close proximity to everything. Pblic transportation was excellent to get to further destinations on our agenda.

Cons:

Use of parking garage with room key needs improvement.

Good option for cruisers
Pros:

Location right near the cruise dock! Room had plenty of space.

Cons:

We had to move rooms because first one was dirty. But staff was helpful and quick to make changes.

Our room was facing nice view to the ocean

Cons:

The pool was small and lots of kids and to crowded , also we called for late check out , but we did pay full price for the garage bcz the late check up 🙂
