Cons:

That they were overbooked I had to swap rooms durning my two night stay and was difficult to swap rooms as had to wait for cleaning to be done so it was a mad dash to move rooms before the wedding we had to go to for the afternoon. And the first room was not what I booked at the start - wanted and ensuite and didn’t get that the first night. Felt unsafe having to go to the bathroom durning the night. Actually got the room we booked the 2 night but the beds there were very uncomfortable

A great location
Pros:

The pub food was great. The location was great for an afternoon walk to the river.

Cons:

The beds were too soft and the pillows had no pillow case on them, just a pillow protector.

Clean basic budget motel style room
Pros:

The room was clean & the 2 single beds were comfortable with nice crisp sheets.

Cons:

There was no TV or microwave & the curtains were a bit short to fully cover the window & outside lights on the eaves above our door stayed on all night & it was difficult to stop the light coming into the room.

Consider a covered area for bikes near the pile of kegs.

Wonderful stay, great location, fab pub, yummy food and friendly staff.

Very dissapointing. Staff priority was local customers and not visitors paying good money to stay.

Location. Restaurant food was good. (staff in restaurant were lovely)

Cons:

Check in was slow as people at the bar took priority over me waiting to check in. No deisgnated parking for accomodation and staff could not care less. Parking was taken up by patrons and staff of the pub/restaurant and nothing left for the 6 accomodation rooms. Walk into the room and it just smells of damp, wet which was very overpowering. No power point in bathroom. No mirror near a powerpoint for hair dryer. No hair dryer. No face washer or hand towel. The smell in the room was extremely bad which just over powered anything good about the place. Also the location on their website when you click on the link, does not take you to the property. You need to travel a further kilometre down the road.
