Pros:

位於蛋黃區非常方便 舒適乾淨有窗採光好空間算大早餐豐盛服務人員好 有求必應

Cons:

靠馬路有窗的房間會聽到外面噪音比較吵、空調冷氣不冷 沒冰箱 洗澡蓮蓬頭出水量較小 續住4天才打掃一次 所以我們續住3晚都沒打掃只能自己去要新毛巾 房間垃圾都滿出來了！

Good option if you are looking for a convenient central place to stay near tourist attractions
Pros:

Great breakfast buffet, and the hotel bar and restaurant have a nice ambiance and good burgers and beer with very friendly and helpful bartenders. Very central location near the waterfront area, castle, and main shopping street.

Cons:

The location was too touristy for my preference, with lots of crowds on the street and huge tour groups staying at the hotel making check-in and getting assistance extremely difficult. It was not a great area for food options, mostly surrounded by expensive chain restaurants and difficult to find good local options nearby (comes with the touristy location, I think). The rooms are very tiny and not very comfortable. Fine for staying a few days for a conference in the city center, but a bit disappointing given the price. If I was booking personal travel, I would look for another neighborhood.

Good hotel central to Oslo
Pros:

Perfect location - very close to the train station, right of Karl Johan street (pedestrian), many options nearby for restaurants (hotel has its own restaurant, in a courtyard away from the street and noise).
My room was tiny, with a double bed, perfect for one person but it would have been a challenge for 2 people with even small suitcases. Very quiet room. Good bathroom, small but perfectly adequate.
Breakfast was good, lots of choices (and a dense dark bread full of seeds and nuts - YUM!) Very busy breakfast room, but I could always find a table for myself.

Cons:

I arrived at the hotel around 1pm - and my room was ready, but as check-in time is 3pm, I was asked to pay 100 Kronen for "early check-in" (and it would have been 300 if before Noon). I refused as I was able to sit in the courtyard and get on the Internet - which is exactly what I would have done in my room. I travel quite a bit - this if the FIRST time I have ever been asked to pay extra for early check-in.
Also, the hotel "floor" system was very confusing: instead of, say, floors 1-2-3, it was like floors 1-2-2A-3A-3B... Fortunately, the signage on my floor (6) was very good and I found my room quickly, but when I went out, I found another elevator which got me to floor 1B (I think) which was 1/2 floor above 1, and I had to walk through the breakfast room to get down to the entrance lobby of the hotel. I never found the original elevator to go down from floor 6... Very strange set-up!!! Kind of fun, actually, call it a challenge!
Has Oslo run out of names? After I made my reservation at this hotel, I gave them my hotel's name. Surprise, they were not staying at my hotel, there is another hotel a few blocks away with the same name!!! Therefore, pay attention to the address as well, not just the name!!!

Would stay at a Comfort again for the free tea and coffee, but perhaps somewhere quieter
Pros:

Free coffee and tea machine on 2nd floor. Go early if you can as Breakfast room can get busy, as some guests linger on the table even when people are waiting, and then don’t bother to clear their own plates away. Limited vegan choices, and nothing labelled, but you can work out that the baked beans, the hummus and fruit are likely to be safe. When asked, the chef showed me where other vegan products were stashed, including havre milk and yogurt (and fake cheese, including fake brown cheese!). Also able to reassure that soaked oats only soaked on water, so safe.

Room spacious but noisy Friday and Saturday night. Good central location otherwise, but might choose somewhere away from the centre next time.

Cons:

Noisy Friday and Saturday night; breakfast busy and no one encouraging guests who have finished eating to leave!
