A relaxing break.
Pros:

Amazing room with a fantastic sea view and very thankful for the upgrade.

Cons:

Our main course at the MOR restaurant was burnt but they knockled this off the bill for us.

Lack of Generosity
Pros:

Beautiful location, comfortable. Great communal spaces and spa was wonderful. Fantastic beach.

Cons:

Service patchy. Didn't really feel they were putting customers first. Lack of generosity. No beach facilities, eg lounger, shower. No coffee machine or snacks in room. Lacking finishing touches you'd expect at this price point. Small room for price too.

Excellent stay in a beautiful location
Pros:

Located 10 minutes from centre of St Ives, this wonderful hotel has spectacular views of the sea. We were upgraded to one of their lodges which made for an extra special stay. I had two treatments at the spa which were very good, shoutouts to Vikky and Sarah, both very knowledgeable and helpful with treatment choices and products. The yoga instructor, Kate, was excellent too. Sam went out of his way to help us with our breakfast hamper delivery one morning. We had dinner at MOR, which my husband said was one of the best meals he'd ever had! Breakfast in the main hotel dining room was excellent too. A great overall stay, I would love to return some day.

Son emplacement bien sûr et le personnel a l’accueil

Cons:

La chambre n’était pas celle prévue au départ mais on nous l’a changé sans difficultés. La dame de l’accueil a été formidable. À part ça une fuite sous le lavabo et une porte fenêtre très difficile à ouvrir ou fermer. L’accueil au restaurant très impersonnel!!!

Stunning location. Disappointing hotel.
Pros:

Stunning location. Spa and gym easily accessible and well kitted out. Very relaxing.

Cons:

Room facilities were lacking given the price - no tea/coffee making in room, a free standing fridge which was empty, no drinks on room service menu, huge mirror blocking plugs not fixed to the wall (unsafe). A wedding on Saturday night played very loud music until midnight. Breakfast menu limited. Staff generally not customer service focused.

The beach is beautiful and the staff are so friendly

Cons:

I wasn’t aware our apartment would be so far from the main hotel which isn’t ideal with small children (with a very large hill!). The apartment was fine but had elements that felt like student accommodation and for the price I paid I expected more. The breakfast delivery was a nice touch but there wasn’t much variety. The pool times with kids was so restrictive.

We had a lovely few days here, using the beach and the pool and the very good if expensive Walter on the beach restauran
Pros:

The spa area was amazing. The location was superb, The food was delicious. The history of the hotel was very interesting to us.

Cons:

The junior suite was rather smaller than expected, and the only window in the room was not overlooking the sea and in fact could be overlooked by other residents from their balconies! The staff were often slow at table service at breakfast and sometimes erratic.
