My shopping item an necklace in a box went missing and I feel the hotel story of it never existed. Then being told it was thrown out and no one getting back to me was very disappointing. This was my third stay at the hotel and my last. I work at this hotel for bridal functions a few times a year and I will be recommending bridals to stay elsewhere.
We had two rooms here to start our Australian adventure. The staff at this hotel was so welcoming. When the Manager learned we had just arrived, he sat down with us and walked us through a map of Sydney and his suggestions of where to go - which were all fabulous!
The rooms are very nice. We booked using The Edit by Chase Travel and also have IHG status so we received two upgrades to a Premium King with living space.
Our teens also really appreciated their room which had two twin beds.
The free breakfast benefit (with the edit) at Luke’s was so wonderful. The food was great, lots of choices and the barista-made drinks were delightful.
We really enjoyed the location. Very easy to get to the harbor area and the Pitt Street mall. Sometimes we walked and sometimes we were running behind so we grabbed an Uber and that was usually a short $12 ride.
Overall, I really loved this hotel and stay and I’m so glad it’s where we started our journey.
Fantastic stylish with old world charm. Stayed for a couple of nights, arrived early but check in found a room that was ready and we were checked in. Girl on reception was friendly and chatty, really welcoming. This hotel is in the middle of it all with easy travel options to the tourist attractions, but gives a real getaway from it all at the end of the day. Great hotel and I would highly recommend.
Wonderful stay and can’t beat the location!! Perfect check in and very accommodating after our long flight! Really comfortable, quiet room and professional & friendly staff.

Seamless check-in and check-out. Loving the "welcome drinks" at reception. Loved returning to Kimpton, will need to return again soon.
