Beautifully set in the countryside
It’s a lovely location, perfect for golf. We went for a wedding, and you could definitely tell that golfers share the space with other event guests, regardless of what else is taking place.
Nothing to do with the hotel but guests are so loud going for breakfast if u are in the block that has the dining areas. You can hear everything happening in the corridors

The hotel you described appears to be a disappointing experience, feeling more like an overpriced student residence than a proper hotel without breakfast included.
Great Location
I searched booking.com looking for a spa for my wife and I and unfortunately this has no spa even though it’s called Hotel and spa!
When I called the property, they weren’t interested and said they have some massage facilities, but none available on the day of our stay. As a result, we politely asked if we could cancel, but they refused. Shame as it could be a nice place with an actual spa.
Nice, clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Staff were friendly. Centre is a good walk away. Issues getting a taxi home at night.
No mini fridge in room
Room was very spacious, nice view overlooking the golf course, breakfast easy to navigate
Was not easy to try and book a spa treatment, especially looking at booking the same timeslot as a couple, so we passed on this. The dinner menu wasn't to our taste so we travelled out to eat instead.
Location
The breakfast was very bob standard, nothing was amazing. I think they need to look at the quality of the tTeabags. It was like drinking dishwater, the colour was awful and no taste as far as tea was concerned
. The fruit was dull, all low fat yoghurts, the pastries were over baked. When you pay nearly £15.00 for a breakfast I would expect a lot more quality.
We shouldn’t just accept mediocre food. The restaurant meals in the evening were very good. We did ask to be moved to another table as ours was very wobbly, we were not moved. So we put up with the wobbly table. We felt it was very dated and could do with a make over. It was very clean so that in my estimation is a positive.
It was a lovely hotel close to the places we wanted to visit
On booking the hotel we assumed that it was a spa ( sauna pool hot tub etc) but treatment only spa which was disappointing but it does say if you read it🙈.
