Pros:

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room and bed linen was clean
Restaurant was nice good quality but poor menu.

Cons:

Twin beds very small and uncomfortable. Funny smell in room. Furniture was dated damaged and very brown, poor quality. Seen better in Travel lodge.
Slow service at breakfast. Buffet but had to wait for everything to be replenished. Juice. Milk bread. Bacon eggs. Dirty tables.
Advertised as 4star. And spa. Not 4 star and no spa facilities. Not even a hot tub.
Bar area was strange. Not at all cosy and no comfortable seating. More of a function room. Not somewhere you would like to sit and have a drink after a day out.

Fantastic weekend away! Would definitely recommend.
Pros:

The hotel room was really lovely, it overlooked the car park but it was super quiet. We visited the bar both days we were there and the drink selection was good. We ordered pizza one evening and they were delicious.

Cons:

The price of drinks is a little expensive. It might be nice to have more than 4 teabags in the room to be able to make your own drinks.
